My mom and I were standing in front of the video games. There was one called LIttle Big Planet. I had played before. Brennen had the game for his nephew. I picked it out, knowing me and Christain could play. I was reaching for the game when a woman about my parent's age came around. "Shouldn't you be in school?" She asked.
"Shouldn't you be minding your own buisness." I snapped.
"I'm sorry, dear. Why don't I-"
"Why don't shut up, woman." I put the game back, and stormed for the bathroom.
After a couple minutes, I calmed down and found my mom checking out.
We got back in the car, and I was hoping for complete silence. "That was completly innapropriate." Mom nagged.
I gave her the normal answers any boy would.
"Yes, mom. I know mom. I'm sorry mom. Yes, not again." They came out lifeless.
Mom looked over at me, and placed her hand on my leg. "I love you, Baby. Okay? You can't act like that."
"This is America. I have freedom of speech." I wasn't thinking as I spoke.
"Don't talk back." She was stern.
Once we reached home, I ran straight up to my room. "Get down here!" my mom howled.
"I'm not going to listen!" I yelled back. Our argument was cut short by a phone call.
