Winter
I changed back instantly and completely forgot about the fight and ran towards Lykaos, "What's wrong?" I asked, "What's happening to you?" Her eyes were glazed over with a slight glow. I pulled her body over to mine, and placed a hand over her forehead. She was burning up bad.
"She's trying to reject her wolf." A deep voice answered my lingering question. I turned my head from where it came from, my grip on Lykaos tightening while she groaned quietly, I came faced with a tall figure stalking behind me, shaggy light blonde hair and striking blue eyes. An image of the White wolf came into my mind, he had changed back.
"What do you mean she's rejecting her wolf?" I asked him.
"Her human body is denying the change to become a wolf and the wolf isn't going to let that happen. It will do what it must to survive even if it means taking full control over her body. It won't let her reject it. She'll become completely wolf. She'll return to the wild as wolf had once done."
His eyes never once wavered from my own. Something made me want to forget this all and go to him. But that thought was gone was Lykaos shuddered from my grip and fell forwards with her arms just holding her up, "Are you okay?"
Lykaos
What was happening? Everything was hurting. I could hear voices, their screams, their howls. Combining of something humane but with the timbre of an animal, wild and savage. I couldn't see properly as I stumbled to get closer towards the call, they were meant for me, they called out to me. But, it didn't feel right, so I fell back as two parts of me started to tug my body this way and that.
I ran my tongue over my teeth, the way they sharpened and dug in my mouth wasn't right. This wasn't right.
A hand collapsed over my left shoulder, the force made me shudder and fall even further into the earth. The scent of it made my breathing became heavy and a snarl formed over my mouth. Something taken over and my back snapped in. I tried to scream but my voice became a high pitched wail, that followed into a wild howl.
My body was changing and I had no control, nothing was going to stop this.
"Lykaos? Can you hear me?" A soft voice hushed into my ear, though it rang like a siren there was something comforting about it, something familiar. I knew who that voice belonged to.
"Everything is going to be alright." They spoke again, she spoke again, "Don't try to fight it, you're going to change but you'll have no control. You'll be a wolf for now," she stopped and a shaky sigh came out, "I will find you again and bring you back.
Just don't fight her."
She continued to speak but I couldn't understand what was coming out, my skin felt hot. My body was stuffed under something that didn't go well together.
I am human. I am human. I am human, I was-
My skin finally broke, I shook it off and fell into a heavy coat of summer colours.
Winter
Lykaos finally shifted, her eyes yellow and awake. But, she wasn't there for now. She was no more than a normal wild wolf. She shook out her fur as if she'd done it a thousand times before and looked directly into my own eyes before turning away and running into the woods.
"Is she going to be okay?" I asked him quietly. Lost in thought.
"She'll be fine, we'll get her back," I heard him slowly walk up to me and crouch down behind me, "It'll be okay. I'll have someone always keeping an eye on her."
My body shook with sorrow, while arms steadily snaked their way around my waist, I was lifted up and carried off in the direction we came from. I placed my nose on his neck and inhaled his scent. It was nice and made me forget anything bad had ever happened.
