I wake up. It takes a moment for my eyes to adjust. For once, I slept well. I look in front of me and see Namjoon sleeping. I ask myself what my parents must be thinking. Did they even notice my absence?
Do they even care?
Namjoon wakes up in shock.
-Are you alright?? I ask.
-Yeah yeah um, it was just a bad dream.
I nod.
-Thanks, I tell him.
-Why?
-For being my friend and letting me stay here.
He smiles.
-I like you. The first time I saw you, I saw something in you eyes. You.. you reminded me of them. I knew we would get along well.
I smile.
-Namjoon, we should go somewhere, I tell him.
-What do you mean? He asks.
-We should leave, run away in the night and leave all of our problems. Let's leave everything behind. School is a drag, and my parents.. yeah.
-It's seems easier than it is, Taehyung.
I sigh.
-You're right, I tell him. It's impossible.
-Don't worry, it's almost over. School wont be a problem anymore.
We get up and walk to a convenience store near by to get some snacks.
We spend the whole weekend just talking, hanging out at different places, and doing graffiti. We decide to not go to school Monday and to spend the day together at our little hiding spot.

It's 11:30PM
Before falling asleep, I hear spray paint cans. It must be Namjoon. I decide to get up and to go see him outside. I grab a flashlight and open the door. I jump out and see Namjoon painting something in red. It looks like one of those bulletproof jackets, those that cops wear all the time.
-Na-Namjoon? I say.
-Go back to sleep, he says.
-But--
-Just go back to sleep!
He turns around to face me. I notice a tear on his cheek.
-A-alright.
I look down and turn back around.
-Excuse me? Says and unknown voice.
