"How dare you do that?" Boomed the voice of the head teacher as soon as I entered the room.
"Do what?"
Being pulled out of my lesson ten minutes before the bell wasn't exactly the usual school routine. Clearly I have done something wrong or he wouldn't have ever taken me out.
"Don't you dare act smart with me!" He said with the jiggling cheeks and spraying spit of a bulldog.
"But I don't know what you're talking about," I said calmly.
"You don't?" He raised his eyebrows. His voice was quieter but sarcastic, but still I decided to act stupid and go along with it.
I shook my head. "No, sir," I replied in an innocent voice. We both knew it was fake.
"Well," he began and slammed the pencil pot on his desk, causing everything inside it to fall out. "Do you by any chance happen to know who did this?"
He pulled out a piece of scrunched up paper and unfolded it so roughly that most of it was torn by the time it was presentable. However, it was clear enough to me to identify the photo. I couldn't help, but to snort. Anybody in my place would have done the same.
Posing in the photo was an old man with his back towards the camera but his head turned around so his face was visible. He was standing in front of the water of the beach dressed in a neon orange bikini. I have to say that thongs do not give his butt a good look. Both butt cheeks were saggy and falling like the faces of a Bloodhound. Maybe worse. And, you could see wrinkles building up on them and the rolls on his back. I let out another snort when I took a closer look at the face. It was beautifully done, especially with the striking red lipstick and the eye paint thingy. And the blush definitely matched with his skin tone. I am so proud of myself. My Photoshop editing just gets better and better.
Barbie, you so have competition in town.
Before I could take a last look at it, the head teacher snatched it away, ripped it into pieces like a mad dog and showered them into the plastic bin sitting beside him. His face was glowing red and I could have sworn I saw some fire bursting out of his large ears and his sharp pointing nose flared so wide that I was able to count every one of his nose hairs and see things I wish I didn't.
God, help my eyes.
"It's not that bad... I mean, orange is an awesome colour on you," I shrugged and smiled at him goofily. "It really goes well with your skin tone."
"You think this is funny? I'll show you funny. I'm calling your parents up right now and boy, you are getting an exclusion for a week!"
"Oh," I said and then gleamed. "Does this mean I get to miss the exams on Thursday?"
"This is not a joke! You have really pushed it this time..." he rambled some more, but honestly, I couldn't care less about what this guy was telling me.
Since my first year in this secondary school, this head teacher always had his nose up into my business. For some reason, he just did not like me. At all. I've never done a single bad thing to him and yet he really disliked me. I've always told him the truth, whether it was about his school, his horrible fashion or his stupid haircut. I guess some people did not like hearing the truth or taking good advice. No wonder the guy was still single.
