Britney's POV

A sigh escaped from my mouth when I looked up at the hotel my friend was staying in. It was a five star hotel which had all those fancy crap you could think of. I walked right in as the doorman opened it for me and greeted me a good morning. Some of the employees asked where were my bags, since they thought I was staying here but I told them that I was just visiting a friend. I took the elevator and pressed the button that had 5 on it. A few minutes later the elevator doors opened and I proceeded to room 105. I knocked on the door a few times before someone would open it. Then I found myself staring at Bryan Frewoq,my friend, in a red robe with his blonde hair tousled. A smile escaped from his lips as he finally recognized me.

"Well look who's back," Bryan said as he smiled clearly amused by my prescence.

"Yeah, it took me a year to recover last last year's event," I explained.

"You sure did take your time, where did you go anyway?" he asked his dull blue eyes looking curious. Where did I,Britney Deenfort, disappear last year?

"Well I'll explain everything to you after you get dressed and we'll talk in our usual place," I said.

"You mean Dew Top coffe shop?" he asked.

I nodded.

"Well aren't you going to let me in? Unless...there's a girl there then-"

"No! No! I changed my habits! No more sleeping with a girl unless I'm committed to her," he assured he.

 I laughed at his sudden sort of promise. Bryan was always a player no matter what universe he was in. He was a nice friend but when he becomes the 'player' then it's business. You might be wondering why he was staying at a hotel. Well Bryan comes from a rich family and wasn't contented with an apartment with no maid and room service so his parents made him stay at a hotel. And may I just say that he is so living the life. Although his parents didn't know that 'before' he constantly slept with a girl to keep his 'player' reputation. 2 years ago I was with the same school as Bryan and my other friends. He would alway be sorrounded by girls and some other popular and rich guys too. I mean what girl wouldn't fall for a tall, hot, blue eyed, model looking, blonde haired guy. Well for me it was different sure Bryan was hot but at that time my heart was stolen by Chad Cadeb. The all around good guy in the school. He was smart, charming and most of all a really nice gentlemen. But sadly I finally knew that he was a fake. It was our 2nd week anniversary and when I caught him hooking up with a girl. I can't believe it took him a minute to realize that I was in front of them. I guess he really liked making out with the bitch. Not until I cleared my throat loudly that he noticed me then his pleasured smile changed when he saw me. Then I walked away shouting at the top of my lungs that we were over. No matter how many times he said that it was an accident, I wouldn't believe him. I mean will you after you saw what realy happened? Then last year my parents filed a divorce and I was forced to stay with my mom since my dad really had no desire to keep me I was left with my mom. I guess when he didn't love my mom anymore he also didn't bother to love me. But now I was finally able to move on. Since last year I asked my mom to have some alone time for the rest of the year. Surprisingly she agreed. I moved to a very not really luxorious and not well known place that thre was a less chance of someone noticing who I am. I did yoga there and finally found peace in my soul. I learned to eat in the regular fastfoods most normal people eat instead of the high class food I was used to. I made nice friends there who always were welcoming. But I couldn't help but miss my friends back in Halter ( a made up city). So I decided to call my mom and told her I was coming back to Halter and she was glad to hear that. I was-

"I'm done!" Bryan declared as he got out of his huge walk in closet.

"Good. Now let's get going," I said as twisted the knob of his door.

Then we both headed for our usual place which was 3 shops away from his hotel. While we were walking every girl's attention was at Bryan who was walking beside me. I was amused by the killer glares some of the girls gave me as they saw me beside Bryan.

"Ah, don't you love attention, Brit?" Bryan said as flipped his hair to get some points from the girls.

"Yeah but sometimes its annoying," I said.

 "Yeah you're a golden star celebrity here in Halter of course the media won't leave you alone. Espacially after two major unfortunates events happened to you. Good thing you were not here in Halter, they could've attacked you," he said.

"Yeah, the only reason I'm a golden celebrity is because I'm from an elite family and so are you," I said.

"Hey don't forget our golden looks," he said as he flashed a warm smile towards me.

We finally arrived at our usual talking place before I left. We ordered the same food and drinks. And as soon as we found a place to sit down and eat I started explaining all the things that happened to me last year. Then finallt it was his turn to react.

"I believe Chad is an asshole," Bryan said his dull blue eyes connecting in mine.

"Yeah, but I've moved on," I said as I took a sip of my coffe.

"Good thing. So you have someone else in mind? Perhaps you fell for the guys you met last year?" Bryan teased.

I almost chocked while I took another sip of my coffee.

"Nope," I said.

"So how did the McDonald food taste like?" Bryan asked me with curious eyes.

Believe me the guy has never EVER been to a fastfood place before. NEVER.

"Well...surprisingly good I guess...their sundae is the best!" I said as I remembered the delicious taste of the soft vanilla ice cream that melted in mouth.

"It's a mircale you didn't get fat from eating fastfood," he commented.

"Hey! I only eat during weekends! And I do yoga and exercise you idiot! No matter where I am I always make sure to exercise!" I said.

"Whatever," he said as he ate a mouthful of his cake.
