Star was the first to wake up. She looked outside and saw that the clouds were gone and the sun was shining, making the snow sparkle. I've never seen snow before. She looked over at Victor and smiled. He was sleeping soundly against her. She taped him with her tail gently to wake him up.
He woke up with a start and quickly looked around. "Huh? What?"
Star giggled at his response. "It's time to get up. We've got to go. The sun is out and it's the perfect weather for flying."
"Alright, alright," Victor said groggily.
Star chuckled and Victor stood up slowly. "When you get out there the cold will wake you up,"Star said.
"I guess so," Victor said back. Victor climbed back onto Star's back and held on to one of her crests.
"You good?" Star asked.
"Yup," replied Victor.
Star trotted out of the cave and blew fire on the snow to make a clear path so there was no snow in the way. She ran down the the path and launched.
