"I came here to end my life. Nothing more. My parents are abusive and think I'm useless. I do extreme things to try and impress them. But it doesn't work. I was tired of it. So I almost climbed on this mountain to die. But then I found you. Then you know the rest."
"Oh, really?! I'm sorry! About your parents and everything. To want to kill yourself at this age... It must have been really bad!" Exclaimed Star.
"It was bad," replied Victor.
There was a small silence but it was broken by Star's speech. "How old are you anyway?"
"Oh. I'm still twelve," replied Victor. "
"Really? If it's 2919 I'm at least fifteen. We're not that far apart," said Star.
"Huh."
There was more silence. Star looked at her phone again. "Come on. We've got to go," she said.
"What? Why?"
"We're going on an adventure. And you were going to ask if you could come because you don't want to go back home."
"How did you know that?"
"I have my ways." Star stood up and walked out to the entrance of the cave. "Climb on," she said to Victor.
"Uh, ok." He climbed on hesitantly and Star walked outside after he was secure and took off.
