Star swam through the water like a bullet with victor holding on tight to her scaly neck. She leaped out of the water like a dolphin and her wings snapped out and she took flight.
"It feels good to be flying again," Victor said.
"But it's dangerous. Very dangerous," the purple dragon said back.
"Oh. Thats right," Victor recalled. If you were being chased by the military with intentions to capture and kill, it was probably dangerous. Star flew carefully and her wings were quiet. She stayed close to the water in case they were found they could quickly dive into the water.

The day passed. Then so did night. Star would always catch a fish or two. She craved food to take away the dull taste in her mouth but she didn't need it. So whatever she caught she gave to Victor. Happily, nothing too exciting happened for a while but Star woke up Victor with a nudge of her tail.
"This is where you put your complete guard up." They were entering the United States. Every military base was there. And would be against them. If they were spotted it would be disastrous. Star took a deep breath.
"Here we go."
