"Wait a second. Where the heck are we?!"
"Oh, yeah. I didn't tell you. We're at Mount Everest."
"What?! Why didn't you tell me?!"
"Cause I just forgot!"
"Ok, ok. It's fine. We can get out of here." Star was mad. Not at Victor but that she was so far away from her destination. The wind was pushing her about and snow pelted her face. She didn't like the cold either. "Oh, good it's winter," she said sarcastically. "Well now I know how old I am." She flew up even higher but started to fall down. "I can't keep flying. The wind is too strong and I have very little power," she shouted back at Victor against the wind, "We'll have to spend some time in the cave to wait for the clouds to part and the wind to die down." She slowly landed and padded through the snow back to the cave. "Are you cold?"
"Nah, I'm good."
"Do you have food?"
There was a long silence before Victor finally answered. "No," replied Victor.
"When was the last time you ate?"
"This morning."
"Good you'll be ok for a while." She laid down with her head on her paws and Victor slipped off the dragon's back. He then laid against the dragon, enjoying the warmth coming from her body. And they simultaneously fell asleep.
