I was already in the kitchen making breakfast to myself before going to college. c
"Good morning Layla" said Sofy hugging me from behind. Then running to one of the stools and sitting on it.
"You're still here? AND YOU'RE STILL IN PAJAMAS?! You're going to be late for school." I said to her.
My mom entered the kitchen. "I know I know. Your dad forgot to set the alarm last night." She said informing me. "Sofía go get ready. You might be a little late for school, but you won't skip school." My mom said now to Sofy while walking to the living room.
Sofy nodded and came to me. "What are you making Layla?" she asked me looking at what I was cooking. "PANCAKES!" she shouted excited.
"You want some?" I asked her and she nodded. I took the two pancakes that were done, put them on a plate, cut them in pieces, and gave it to her. I went to the fridge and grab the syrup and pour a little on her pancakes. "Here, now go upstairs and eat it while you get ready. And don't tell mom I let you eat on your room, ok?" I inform her and she nod. She went running upstairs.
I started to make some more pancakes for myself and my mom entered the kitchen again.
"Hey mom, can a friend of mine can come after class? He needs my help for some class he needs to pass." I asked her.
"Oh, well ok then. Just don't forget to pick up your sister at her school." She said to me and I nodded. "And, will I get the chance to meet that friend of yours?" she asked raising an eyebrow at me.
"Mom!" I said to her laughing and she laughed too. "Do you want some pancakes?" I asked her.
"No sweetie, thank you." She replied.
I pour two glasses of orange juice and sit down on one of the stools with my pancakes and my juice. When Sofy came downstairs she put the plate in the sink.
"I served you a glass of juice." I told her and she thanked me. After she finish it she put the glass on the sink and walked to the door with my mom.
"Layla, remember today's your day of making dinner." She said before closing the door. I completely forgot about that.
After I finished my breakfast I started to clean all the dishes when Mauro entered the kitchen.
"Well good morning, lazy guy!" I said to him. He made a little groan. What a morning person.
"Good morning, I'm exhausted and I have work in like 40 minutes." He said in a husky voice.
"Well in that case if I were you I would be getting ready." I said to him mocking his voice, while he prepare a cup of coffee for himself. "Well, I'm taking off to college, see you!" I said to him and he waved at me even though he was giving me his back.

After school I went to the supermarket to buy what I needed for dinner. Then I picked up Sofy at her school and then I headed home and it was 3:59 pm. What a record Layla!
When we got inside the house Sofy went upstairs to change and I did the same. I put on some shorts and a tank top. Then I heard the doorbell.
I went downstairs to open the door.
"Hey" said Dylan standing in my front door with his backpack on his back and a box of donuts in his hands.
"Hey, come in." I said to him with a smile. He get inside the house and took a look around.
"You have a beautiful house." He said with a smile.
"Well thank you." I simply said smiling too.
