So it's been a week since we painted the house and I just love how it looks. It looks modern and fresh, it looks amazing. I was getting out of college and was on my way to work. I haven't seen Dylan a lot during this week, the only time I saw him was on class and he didn't talked so much with me. And after class he just walked rushing towards the door and just disappeared from college. I tried calling him, but he wouldn't answer, so I just assume that he was avoiding me. But in what I wasn't sure was, why he was avoiding me. I mean, did I made something to him? –
My thoughts were interrupted when I reached my job.
"Hey everyone." I said greeting Jessy, Martha and Kate.
"Well hi! How's been you day so far on the bakery?" I asked Kate.
"Well, in the morning it was insane, but now it's quite great." She said smiling.
"Well, welcome on board, as you can see in the morning it's quite an adventure!" I said playfully to her and she laughed. Every now and then, when we have no clients we chat for a while and our shift went by flying. We closed the bakery and walked to our cars.
"Well good night Layla. Have a save ride!" Kate said smiling and hugging me.
"Good night Kate, you too! We should hang out sometime and go shopping or something!" I said to her.
"Yeah, that would be a good idea." She replied smiling.
I drove home and walked inside. It was 9:30 pm already.
"Hey Layla." Sofy said to me hugging me.
"Hey! What are you doing up at this time young lady?!" I asked her raising an eyebrow at her.
"Mauro and I are going to watch a movie. And besides, today is Friday, so I don't have school tomorrow." She informed me.
"Do you want to watch the move with us?" Mauro asked.
"Yes, that would be fun. You guys go find the movie we're going to watch while I take a hot shower." I said to them and they nodded.
I went upstairs and took a hot shower and put on my pajamas. I walked downstairs and Sofy was sitting on the living room with the DVD on her hand.
"Where's Mauro?" I asked her and she pointed towards the kitchen. I turned around and Mauro was walking to the living room with a bowl full of popcorn and hand it to me to put the movie. I plopped down on one side of the couch and Sofy sat down next to me. Mauro put the movie and turn off the lights. Then he sat at the other side of the couch.
"Where's mom and dad?" I asked out loud.
"Sleeping." Mauro said and I nodded.
"SHHH!" Sofy shush us and we shut up and watch the movie.
We were at the middle of the movie when the doorbell rang. Sofy was lying on the couch sleeping with her feet on top of Mauro's lap and her head on my lap. When I heard the doorbell I looked at Mauro and he gesture me that he was going to see who it was. I nodded and he stood up carefully to not wake up Sofy. I looked at the clock and it was 11:15 pm. Who can be so late? Just then Mauro came to the living room and gesture me to go to him. I stood up carefully and walked up to him.
"What's up? Who is it?" I asked him in a low tone.
"It's for you. It's Dylan." He said to me.
"DYLAN?!" I shouted-whisper to him "What does he want?" I asked him. He just shrugged his arms.
"I don't know. Just go!" he said sitting on the couch and continue to watch the movie.
I rolled my eyes at my brother and his lack of information and walked to the front door. When I opened it I saw Dylan standing there looking at the floor.
