Summer ended, fall is almost over, which means IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! YAY!
I started planning my sweet sixteen this month and now it's this Saturday (which is today!). I invited all my close friends and family, and it's going to be Hollywood themed; the fancy dresses, the red carpet; it's my dream to become an actress, so I may as well get used to it now.
I woke up a little earlier to get ready by curling my hair and putting on a long, flowy blue dress.

A couple hours later, Mom and I headed to the place we rented out for the day and it looked amazing.
The doorway had a long red carpet outside of it and cameras with photographers, then inside the red carpet extended until it reached the dance floor, and there were tables with food and drinks everywhere, tables to sit at, chocolate fountains (my favorite part), etc.
"Wow." I turned around to see Luke. "You look like a princess."
I smiled and hugged him. "You're here early."
Then behind him, Caleb and Sydney came in.
"Happy birthday!" They all said as we had a group hug.
"Thanks! Come on, we should all take pictures!" I suggested as I dragged everyone out to the photographer.
"I kinda want a picture with Luke, and maybe you and Caleb could get a picture together, if that's okay." Sydney suggested when we got outside.
Caleb and I looked at each other a little awkwardly, but agreed and let Sydney and Luke take their picture first.
When we got into the frame, Caleb put his arm around my waist, which startled me a bit. In response, I turned my body a bit to my right towards him and placed one hand on his shoulder, the other on his chest.
The cameraman took our pictures and we all went back inside.
We chatted for a bit longer until more guests arrived.
If you've never had a sweet sixteen before or any big party with lots of people, you don't know how crazy it is! You have to greet everyone and thank them for coming and it's so much work!
A little while later, I was sitting down and talking to some of my friends from gym when the photographer came over.
"Excuse me, miss? Is it alright if I make a slideshow of all the pictures I have taken?" He asked in his French accent.
I nodded and smiled. "Of course! Thank you for asking."
A few minutes later, the slideshow began. I turned around to watch as all the pictures of my friends and I showed up.
Then the one picture I wish didn't show up did.
It was the one of Caleb and I on the red carpet, and we looked almost like a couple.
