- C H A P T E R - O N E -

Mia's POV

"Drive faster! Our stupid final starts in an hour and you still have to find stupid ass parking!" I yelled at my best friend, Alena.

"I'm going as fast as I can dude. If you wouldn't have taken a damn hour getting ready" she replied.

"Well I didn't hear my alarm, wait I think I did, but I thought I was dreaming ha" I said with a soft smile while looking at my paper.

As the traffic was going 20 mph, I was going over my notes and study guide for the math final we had together.

Alena and I have known each other since we were 8th grade sack potatoes, we are now in our sophomore year at university. After we graduated, we moved out of our parents house and moved closer to our school towards downtown LA, which i'm not sure how that happened since they are of Mexican descent and are very strict, Alena is a very good negotiator I guess. Our mexican tradition consists of living with your parents until you get married, no way was I doing that. Since Alena and I had our own jobs and were good at managing our money, they somehow said yes, gracias a dios *thank god*. I felt bad for leaving my younger siblings Brian, who was 14 and Sarahi, who was 10. Whatever, they have each other to fight with, I don't have to deal with their asses anymore. Alena has two older brother who already moved out and had their own families.

As we managed to find parking, we grabbed our bags and started sprinting to our class trying not to get run over.

"Alena! Shit, remember we need to stop by the student center and grab our blue books for the damn final. Pinche *fucking* professor emailed us this morning, prick" I said while rolling my eyes.

"Crap I forgot about that, okay apurate *hurry up*." she said gasping for air.

When we arrived, luckily there was nobody there. After we grabbed our books, we sprinted to our class which was across the damn campus.

When we opened the door, everyone in the class was looking at us, including the professor.

"Ladies take a seat and here is your final, since you arrived late, you have less time than the others, good luck" He said while giving us the paper

"Thank you" I said while I scanned the room for an empty chair. Fucking people ditch the lectures and only come for the final day, damn assholes piss me off.

As I took the test, I couldn't stop thinking that this was my last final until summer vacation. I was thinking of all the cool adventures I would do with Alena, including Vidcon. Yeah we were both excited for that. If you don't know what Vidcon is, it's a YouTube convention where you can meet famous YouTubers, Vine stars, and Instagrammers. The two people I was really excited to see were Sam and Colby. With me being in the Colby lane, I was so ready to see his beautiful eyes and flawless eyebrows.

My thought were interrupted by the professor, "you guys have 15 minutes left" Shit I gotta hurry. I looked at Alena and she was scribbling all over the damn page, she needs to chill.

When we were finally done, we decided to get some food at the food court since we skipped breakfast.

"So you excited about Vidcon? It's next week" Alena asked me while eating her salad.

"Hell yeah i'm ready to finally meet my future husband"

"You're too obsessed dude, you need to chill"

"Nah, what about you? You're freakin obsessed with your damn soul mate shenanigans"

" How do you not believe in that? I know he's out there looking for me, I just have a feeling. Like i'm right here pendejo *stupid*" she said while drinking her water.

Hey, so my first chapter is up. Luckily this hasn't happened to be, mainly because I have no friends, sad. Hope you enjoyed it. I'll try my best to make the chapters a little longer. DAISY🌼
