Colby's POV

We stay at her parents house a couple more hours and sang happy birthday. After we sang, Mia wanted me to try something.

"Sarahi, can you go grab a mazapan" Mia said.

"What is that?" I ask.

"Just wait" she said. Sarahi then comes in and brings a tan colored circle with a picture of a rose.

"Here" she hands it to me. I open it and when I try to bring up to my mouth, it falls apart with crumbs going everywhere. I look over at Mia and Sarahi and they're laughing.

"Oh my gosh, you made a big mess!" Sarahi says and I stare at both of them.

"Was this a trick?"

"Kinda" Mia says. "You have to eat those so damn careful if not you make the biggest mess" she laughs and I stare at her.

"Well, you two got me" I say as I clean up the mess.

"I wanted to see your reaction" she helps me clean.

It was time for us to leave so we say bye to everyone. I go to shake hands with her dad and he whispers something in my ear. "Please take care of her mijo" he says and I nod. I hug Mia's mom and when she let's go of me, she looks up at me. She continues to stare and it starts to feel a little awkward. Mia sees and speaks up.

"Ma, para *stop*"

"Lo siento, tiene los ojos tan perfectos y azul *I'm sorry, he has the most perfect blue eyes*"

"Ya se *yeah I know* ma"

"Quiero que hagas mis nietos con el un dia*I want you to have my grandchildren with him one day*"

"Ma!" Mia yells, I look at them and smile, they both smile back at me. I don't what they're saying so I just smile.

"Bye Colby!" Sarahi comes to hug me.

"Bye Sarahi" I hug her back.

"I drew you something" she hands me a piece of paper.

"Let me see" I grab it and look at it. It's a drawing of Mia and I, our names are labeled on top. It looks like we're holding hands and were at a park or something similar.

"Do you like it?" she looks up at me.

"I love it" I say and she blushes. Mia finishes saying bye and so do I. We get in the car and I drive back. I really enjoyed meeting her family. It was sad to hear that even her siblings noticed how sad she gets.

"Colby!" Mia yells and I come back to reality.

"What, what happened?"

"Are you dropping me off at my place?" she looks over at me.

"Yeah but first, I need to give you your present"

"Oh okay"

"Is it fine?"

"Yeah, what is it?"

"You have to wait"

"Fine" she crosses her arms.

As we walk up to the apartment, I have to hide the stuff I got her in a backpack. We get up to her apartment and tell her to wait in the living room. I look for my laptop in the backpack. I grab it and hook it up to the TV in the living room. I push play and sit next to Mia.

"What is this?"

"Just watch it" I put my arms around her.

"Okay"
