Mia's POV

Damn it's so hard to plan a whole party yourself. I've been shopping for the stuff all week.

I go over to Alena's parents house to decorate. I love her parents, they always treat me like i'm their daughter. I take a break from decorating as her mom feeds me.

"Quieres mas *want more* mija?"

"No gracias *no thank you*"

"Here" she hands me more food

"No, i'm still going to eat later, thank you"

"You sure?"

"Yes" I laugh, "what do you think the gender of the baby is going to be?"

"Boy, and you?"

"I want it to be a girl but I already know it's going to be a boy, it always happens"

"And do you want kids?" she looks at me and spit my drink back into my cup.

"Yeah...but not right now."

"Yeah, you're still young, have fun"

"I will"

"You don't want to make your parents grandparents so soon"

"Yeah" I nervously say. "I'm gonna go finish decorating"

"Okay mija"

"Hi guys" I greet my whole family.

"You did all this?" my mom asks.

"Yeah took me forever"

"Why didn't you ask Colby to do it?"

"I wanted to do it myself" I shrug my shoulders.

"Ahh there he is!" my dad looks past me.

"Hello" Colby looked confused.

"Hope you're still treating my girl like a princess"

"Yeah I still am" he looked happy. He put his arm around my shoulder and I had no choice but to leave it there.

I never told my family we broke up.

"Good, she deserves it"

"She sure does" he kisses the top of my head and I make a face.

"I gotta go check up on the food, go take a seat" I walk away. I feel someone grab my hand. I already knew it was Colby.

"You never told them?"

"No"

"Why?"

"Never got time"

"You liar"

"Colby, don't start"

"You knew we were gonna get back together" he smirks.

"We aren't even together Colby"

"In my mind we are"

"Well in mine, we aren't"

"Don't fight the tension Mia" he grabs my waist.

"I'm not" I lie.

"Cmon, I gave you plenty of time"

"Not now Colby" I get out of his grip and walk away.

We all sit down and eat, luckily it didn't rain today. It was a little chilly, but it was still a nice day.

"Okay everyone it's time!" Alena yells. We all turn to her and Sam. They're standing next to the cake and she's holding a knife.
