Mia's POV

So it's been about a month since Vidcon and Colby and I have texted almost every single day. If you're wondering about school, Alena and I decided not to go to summer school. We wanted to relax and make a little more money, we also wanted to spend a little more time together.

Colby: Heyyyyy🤗

Me: Sup

Colby: What you up to?

Me: Just got home from stupid work🙄

Colby: So grateful YouTube is my job

Me: Yeah you lucky piece of garbage

Colby: So I see that my slang has lingered onto you

Me: Yeah you piece of garbage😂

Colby: I had a very important question I wanted to ask you

Holy shit, what was he going to ask me? I'm nervous.

Me: And what is this very important question?

Colby: Since we've been wanting to meet up for a while now, How would you like to have diner with me in about an hour?

Oh.my.gosh.

Me: Yeah sounds cool, where at tho?

Colby: umm Tender Greens?

Me: Uh oh, Brennen's gonna be pissed😅

Colby: screw that piece of garbage

Me: okay I'll be there at 6

Colby: See ya then

Is this even happening right now? Am I dreaming? I look at the time and it's 5:23, I gotta get ready. I get up and call out for Alena. Shit, forgot she's still at work, ha sucker.

Should I dress nice? Nah it's not like like it's fancy and shit. Since it's summer and it's hot as shit, I wear black, ripped jeans which is what I always wear. For my top, I just grab a 5sos band tee. Yeah I like 5sos, whatcha gonna do about it? I apply mascara but no eyeliner because it makes my eyelashes less noticeable along with light maroon shade of lipstick. I look at the clock and it's 5:45, shit I better leave.

I walk to my car and once I turn the key, the radio starts blasting Mercy by Shawn Mendes, Fuck this song is so damn good. I get stopped at a red light and I start singing my heart out. "OHHHH, PLEASE HAVE MERCY ON ME, TAKE IT EASY ON MY HEART, EVEN THO-" I hear cars honking at me, I look up and the light is green, whoops, sorry.

When I get there, I wait in my car and look at the time, 5:58. I look up and I try to find Colby through the window, I finally spot him in the corner and he's on his phone. Get your ass out of this car, he's waiting for you. I take a couple of breathers and I finally get out of the damn car. I look both ways before crossing, I go to the corner where he was and knocked on the window. He instantly looked up curiously, when he looked at me, he grew the biggest smile. I walk inside and walk over to him, he gets up and gives me a hug. Safe.

"Hey" he said

"Hi" I said while smiling and taking a seat.

"So you've ever eaten here?"
