I was sitting on the farthest corner of the dining room. That 'Taehyung' guy was on the opposite side, shooting me his murderous glare he could ever put up as if I was scared to the bones. Mrs. Kim was in between, exchanging her gazes towards in me-him-me-him pattern. She had that crunchy face of disappointment. I hate it when she had it, it feels like I committed the most deadliest sin she wouldn't expect I'd do. But mostly I hate the one who started this bullcrap.
Not me though.
I remained my head down and chucked my curled fingers on top of my lap. No one dared to speak first. And the more silent it was, the more tension was felt. This is not how I imagined my first night in someone else's house to be. Did I just hit a bad luck?
"What just happened? Taehyung you nearly choked him, why would you do that?" Mrs. Kim asked, in the most calm tone she had.
"He started it!" He said with a couple of octaves higher, quite the opposite. This guy's sure have no manners.
"Woah, I can perfectly picture that what happened before was clearly your fault!" I retorted back.
"Its not my fault if you looked like a burglar!"
"Oh yeah, and its not my fault too if your pea-sized brain couldn't differentiate what seem like a burglar to a naïve normal human being. Besides, no need for a burglar to barge into your room hun since its like a typhoon just already hit the place!"
"Really? Atleast I dress as good and looked as good-looking than you and I don't just invade someone's privacy without permission, trespasser!"
"Huh, you're unbelievable. You have the worst common sense ever!"
"And you have the worst personality ever!"
"You have the worst ego ever!"
"You have the worst mouthed words ever!"
"You have the worst blonde hair ever!"
"You have the worst palest skin ever!"
"You--"
"Shut up you two!" Mrs. Kim slammed both her hands on the table, making us stopped for a moment.
That's the time it had dawned upon me that we're all three standing right now. Does it look like we were in the verge of a heated argument in a trial court? Yes. Does it look like I care? No. Screw this boy in front of me.
We sat back down on our chairs trying to regain our composure.
"Tae, didn't I remind you we're having a visitor coming over here tonight? I've been telling you that since last week. You never listened to me..." Mrs. Kim said as she shook her head.
He sighed then scratched the back of his head probably because of embarrassment.
"This is Jungkook, Tae. He's the son of the family I've been taking care of. He'll stay here for a bit while his parents are... are not yet at their home. Jungkook this is Taehyung, my grandson."
I nodded my head to her and to him as much as I wanted to roll my eyes. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't being plastic. I'm just being professional here without erasing my respect for my elder nanny. I'm being civil only because she's here. However the asshole, being an asshole as he is, just snobbed me. How I love to pop those eyeballs out of its sockets.
"Stay here and talk things out. I'll go get the dinner ready by fifteen." Mrs. Kim uttered as she pushed her way to kitchen leaving us two. Oh my god no...
Wanna know what's the definition of awkward? Sitting and breathing the same air around the same place with some idiot in front of you just looking at everything except him. That's the real definition! I kept my sight on the ground as if its the most fascinating thing in the world. Its funny how neither of us 'talk' when really we were instructed to talk nor was I gonna start the conversation 'cause heck my pride would be offended by doing so. And I don't know what's taking Mrs. Kim so long in the kitchen because I don't want to be with this guy alone. Every second I'm here in this house was toxicating.
I should've just run away when I had the chance to know where exactly Mr. Nam would be taking me. It would've have been a great idea.

Stomping my feet, I entered Taehyung's room. I hate to admit this, but technically it's Taehyung's room. After so much debate with Mrs. Kim, she declared a final word that I'll be sleeping here together with his grandson since apparently there's no room available. Sleep. Together. In. One. Room. And because I got no every right to protest even though me and Taehyung both have an abhorrence with this set-up, we had no choice. Although sleeping at the couch would've been a better choice, minus the freezing temperature... so no.
I just had to think this as a benefit and pardon my tired-ass self I only come up with keep your enemies closer.
Taehyung was already laying flat on his bed. As soon as he saw me, he turned his back at me. I don't blame him though, I would've done the same if I were in his position. Last thing I want was to be haunted by his face of a nightmare.
I followed suit to his messy bed. I had to say goodbye first to my hygienic self because ugh... this was beyond my expectation. The bed was so narrow it only fitted an average of one person. But anyway, I'm tired to complain and make a big deal even out of that so I just plop down beside Taehyung assuring there's a small gap between him, though it looked so much impossble.
I checked my phone. No messages. No calls. No updates from Jimin. My signal was at its strongest. I wonder what happened to him. Didn't he realize our supposed to be romanti c date and night were turned into a massive flop and here I am in the middle of indecent circumstance? Sleeping beside the boy I barely knew how evil he is? I wanted to tell him all that but he won't answer my calls. But that's fine, I didn't want to be one of those people who sob when their boyfriends don't talk to them. Maybe he's busy plus I needed sleep more than anything.
So I went to. But actually I couldn't 'cause Taehyung perpetually created a lot of twisting movements as if a bug was trapped inside his butt.
"Yah, for the love of God stop moving!" I said. I was surprised that wow, he basically did.
Suddenly, I felt something pressed above my knee. When I checked, my mind's blown over the fact that it was indeed Taehyung's left leg. What the hell?
I wiggled it until I became irritated and pushed it away using the little energy I had in my system. Seconds passed and he did it again, putting his leg onto me. Sighing, I shoved his leg back with a force now. Then I thought two can play that game so it's my time to actually put my leg to the lower part of his body. He showed his competitive side as he topped it with another leg of his. With that, I purposefully stretched my arm and put it on his face making sure it blocked his nose so that he could not breathe. He copied my move but he put his arm around my abdomen. My eyes widen.
This time I pushed him, not letting any part of his body latched on me. But what made my blood boil was when he pushed me back all the way to the point I fell down on the bed, face first.
"Ouch!" Fucking Taehyung--
God forgive me if he will never see the sun shine again tomorrow morning. I am so gonna kill him tonight! Arrgh!
