2. new school

Aarons POV
It was sunday evening and i was in my room trying to calm down. I was nervous because tomorrow school starts and i didn't know what to expect.
When we came to my aunts house last week Daniel showed me my new room. I got the room next to Daniels. He tried his best to make it comfortable for me. He helped me unpack and put on some posters to the wall. He didn't quite understand why someone would have a huge poster of Harry Potter movie. I tried to explain but it was like talking to the wall. Movies just weren't his thing.

"you ok? " Daniel said leaning at the door.
"yeah..i'm ok"
"you sure? you look like you're gonna throw up"
"i'm a bit nervous ok? it's not like i ever had to change school before "
"heii..you won't be alone. We are going to school together tomorrow and you will meet my friends .. just no worries "
"yeah yeah easier to say than do it"
Daniel left smiling. I called my friends and relaxed a bit. At the end of our facetime i felt a bit more excited about new school. They made me believe i'm the lucky one to experience something new for my senior year.

"Aaron are you ready?" Daniel shouted from the hall. I looked at the mirror one more time. My hair grew alot. If my dad would see me, he would definitely say i need a haircut. But my mom loved my curles. Remembering my mom was still hard, so i stopped staring at the mirror and ran down the stairs.
"i told you we need to pick up my friend on the way..so hurry i don't wanna be late" said Daniel already walking to the car. He was lucky enough to own a car and i didn't mind because i didn't like the idea of school bus.
We fought around radio stations on our way to pick up his friend.
"who are we picking up?"
"my best bud Lukas.. he spend his summer in California visiting his uncle. He came home yesterday that's why you didn't see him yet"
We stopped after a few minutes, his friend lived just two streets away.
"and he's late again.. i called him half an hour ago that we are on our way and he is still not outside"
Doors opened a few seconds later and Lukas came out. I froze. I had no idea what happened to me but just seeing him made me feel weird. Lukas looked..wow.. My mind exploded. He is tall and looks like a model from a magazine. I mean i know he is a guy but he looks perfect. He wore black skinny jeans and dark t-shirt. You could see he spend his summer on the sun, since his skin was tanned nicely. I was back in reality when Daniel said "finally..i can't believe how you always manage to be late"
"oh shut up.. i came out as soon as i heard your car". Wow..his voice.."hei you must be Aaron?" His voice is just.."Aaron?" said Daniel while punching me in my arm "welcome back to planet earth"
I looked at Dan confused "what?"
"i tried to introduce myself but it looked like your mind was somewhere else " Lucas said and although i still felt weird i turned around and met the most amazing eyes ever. His eyes were colored like the ocean.. His bleached blond hair
was a bit to long and ran from behind his ear covering his beautiful eyes. I so wanted to move them away from his face.
"you are Aaron right?" Lukas tried again.
"aha". I was still confused. I looked away to fokus but the weird feeling in my stomach was still there.
"Danny said you are into movies and stuff"
"aha" I was so mad at myself. i was screaming in my mind to fokus and say something else then just aha.
"so you are taking media class also?"
"yeah i am" wow i actually did say something more.
"great.. i'm too". Seriously..i was still trying to figure out why he completely confused me and then he tells me he is in my media class..fuck..i need to fokus.."oh, you're into filmmaking too?"
"well i'm interested in everything about movies, music and theater. I'm applying to New York Film Academy, probably for musical theater program"
"what? i'm..aam..i'm applying to NYFA too..i mean i plan to..but i still need to make a movie to apply "
"Yeah..me too..maybe we can figure something out together?"
I smiled and nodded. I liked the idea of spending more time with Lukas. But i needed to sort my weird stomach feeling first.
"you two movie nerds we are here. Get your asses out because we are late".

Daniel showed me the way to the office, i needed to fill some forms and i needed my schedule. Lady in the office wasn't pleased at me being late and she expected that i will fill the forms and be on my way in a minute. So when i finally left the office i ran to my first class. I didn't even have time to be nervous.
I found english class and quietly entered. I didn't want any extra attention but professor decided differently.
"mr. Walker i assume?"
"yes" i said handing him the paperwork from the office.
"i don't like students being late so i hope this is your first and last time not coming to class on time "
I nodded and started looking around for a place to sit. I found an empty space next to a girl that introduced herself as Emily. She was a gorgeous girl with long chocolate brown hair, dark eyes and the longest eyelashes i ever saw.
"you are Dannys cousin?" she whispered after introduction.
"jep that would be me"
"i'm sorry about your mom..Danny was pretty bit up about it.. i hope you will enjoy your time here with us"
I still wasn't ready to talk about my mom so i just quietly thanked her and focused on the professor.
After that class i decided to find my locker and asked Emily  if she can help me.
When we came to our locker i heard a familiar voice and the weird stomach feeling was back. It was Lukas.
"hei Aaron.. looks like we are locker neighbors.. oh hi Emily". I noticed how his voice changed when he said hi to Emily.
"so how was your first class?"
"it was ok.."
"what's on your schedule now?"
"it's biology " i said making a face that showed how much i hated it.
"Emily it looks like he is all mine for the next hour" after that he nodded to me to follow him. I waved to Emily and followed him. While walking behind i noticed he has an astonishing ass. When i realized that i blushed i started walking faster to catch him. No more starring at his ass i said to myself.

I never really liked biology but today i actually enjoyed it. Not because the professor made it interesting, but because i was sitting next to Lukas and we were supposed to be biology partners for the whole year. I was frustrated because i didn't understand what was happening to me and even if i tried not to be excited i just had this stupid smile on my face for the rest of the day.
Later i shared two more classes with Lukas and two with Daniel. I saw people loved Daniels company. I sat with him during lunch. I met Brian and Liam, and his girlfriend Mia, and of course Lukas was there and Emily. After lunch i was sure something was off with Lukas and Emily. Lukas was avoiding her look but i saw her staring at him most of the time.
When Lukas talked to me about media class she tried to engage in our conversation but Lukas simply ignored her. I didn't know what to think because i liked Emily and i also really liked Lukas.
