I walked around my flat to get ready for the little Harry Potter marathon at Taylors today. Demi was going to be there too and it was going to be a girls night. I skipped around my room since I knew that it was going to be fun. There was going to be my favorite gummies, popcorn, and of course, pickles! Hopefully nothing about Harry would come up, I mean, I knew that Taylor would think that something was up during the conversation during Pinkberry. Why would Harry keep pushing? Did he not notice that I didn’t want anyone to know about our past friendship?
I lied on the couch to turn the TV on when my phone started ringing.
“Hey babes! Whats up?” Justin said when I clicked the answer button.
“Justin! I haven’t heard from you in forevs! Hows the Believe tour going babe?” I smiled into the phone. He always made me happy. We were best friends ever since he performed at Taylor’s show and that friendship slowly became a romance. Just thinking about the best friend part made my heart ache though since some part of my still did miss Harry.
“Good! I just got to Tokyo! It’s sick here! You should totally come visit me! I’ll be here for a week for some promo stuff,” he said.
“I might actually! I’ve always wanted to go there! I heard the sushi is amazing! I’ll have to check up with my manager though since I’ve just got back from my own tour she kind of wanted me to rest,” I laughed. I did really miss him and meeting him might be the best way to forget about Harry.
“Really? Well if you can, call me! I’ll get my private jet to fly you over here! I have to go to this interview now, but I’ll call you later on Sel. Bye! Love you!” he chuckled into the phone.
“No need for a jet babe! Alright, talk to you later! Love you too!” I said, he then hung up and I chucked my phone into my bag and walked out the door. Hopefully no paparazzi would be outside. If there was, well they’d get a beautiful picture of my no makeup face.
I got into the car and turned on the radio before I backed up the car out of the garage. Sadly, luck wasn’t on my side and it was a One Direction song was playing. Trust me, it wasn’t like I hated them or anything but right now I really didn’t want to be reminded of Harry. It made me feel guilty for leaving him like that and even though I missed him, I didn’t deserve his friendship. He was too perfect of a friend to have such a cruddy friend like myself.
When I got to Taylor’s house, Demi’s car was already there and so was another car. I shrugged it off though thinking that it was one of Taylor’s other friends. Walking inside, I hear Demi’s familiar laugh and even Taylors. I also heard a deep, raspy, British voice talking about the time I squirted apple juice all over my teacher. Was Harry here as well? I walked inside and it was confirmed when I saw the familiar set of curls.
“Uh, whats Harry doing here? I thought it was girls night?” I asked. I was kind of mad that Taylor would do this even after that little episode she saw earlier.
“Oh! You know, I talked to Harry after you left and he told me everything! So, I think you two should really talk! Demi and I are going to go get some more chips and stuff for our party later!” she smirked as she dragged Demi out the door. The minute they left I glared at Harry.
“So? What do you want Harry? Are you going to try and make me feel worse than I already do for ignoring you? Or yell at me for not keeping my promise from when we were eleven?” I glared at Harry. I knew that I was acting really bitchy, but I had to keep my guard up even though he did nothing wrong.
“I’m not here to do any of that Sel. It’s sad that you think so lowly of me. I just wanted to mend our friendship. It’s good to know that you feel bad for ignoring since you made me feel like I wasn’t good enough for you. I want to be the best friends that we were before. I know that you might not want to, but please. It hurt so much when I lost my best friend,” he frowned. I looked in his eyes and that was when I broke. He was apologizing, he felt so bad when everything was my fault. I was the one who ignored him, I was the one who broke our promises, I was the one who ruined one of the most important friendships of our lives.
