She was expecting a little dingy place, perhaps a McDonalds, but was pleasantly surprised when he instead took her to an actual restaurant.

They were sat on a table alone and the smiles wouldn't leave their faces.

It was awkward at first, but before their food came from the kitchen, their hands were lightly touching each others across the table.

Her cheeks reddened when the waitress finally came with their food, popping their bubble.

By the time it came to leave and go home, they walked to her house slowly, not wanting to part just quite yet.

Their hands skimmed again, nervous to actually grasp onto one another and link their fingers.

Just light caresses here and there.

But when they came to standing outside her house, all nerves went away and their lips touched.
