I groaned as I sat up in bed, sun burned my eyes, even when I closed them.
“Oh my god!” I whispered, because the sound of my own voice at normal volume sounded like nails on a chalk board. “What happened…” I rubbed my head, trying to remember at least a FRACTION of Konaha’s Halloween night.
“Jess?” I heard my dad call from down stairs. I winced at how loud his voice was,
“yea?” I choked out,,
“It’s 11am! Get up!” My eyes widened,
“What day is it?!” I yelled, jumping from my bed and hurrying to the closet.
“Tuesday, but you seem pretty sick.” I froze and turned to my dad, who was standing at the top of the stairs.
Without warning, the full magnitude of the hangover hit me. I gripped my head and let out a low moan,
‘I’m a ninja,’ I thought, ‘I’ve been through worse.’
“Jess, I know what a hangover looks like.” I stared at my smirking father, “And you, my friend, have one.” I grimaced.
“You got me…” My dad chuckled,
“Your still goin’ to school.” I huffed and shooed him out of my room,
“Fine, fine…”

I knocked hesitantly on my English teachers door,
“Ahahaha…” Mrs Bowre glared at me before pointing towards the spare desk next to…
“Emilia!” I shouted, running to her side.
“SHH!” Mrs Bower hushed, shooting a glare my way.
“Sorry…”
“What is it?” Emilia hissed as I sat down, leaning in close, “And how dare you loner me!”
“Look, I have sooo much to tell you!” I unzipped my bag and pulled out my book, “I’ll tell you at lunch.”
“Bitch.”
“You know it.”

“GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUYS!” I shouted, completely ignoring my hangover.
“What?” Annabel asked, giving me a blank stare, “You look like shit, by the way.”
“Love you too, ANYWAY!” I plonked myself on the ground, “I got drunk last night in-“ I lowered my voice, “the Naruto world.” India, Kiyara, Molly, Emilia and Annabel all laughed, I hushed them.
“Oh my god!” Kiyara took in a breath, trying to stop herself from laughing, “I wish I was there!” I rubbed my head, groaning.
“But I can’t remember what happened!” I paused, before clicking my fingers, like those weird people do in movies.
Yea. I’m cool.
“Joseph!” I promptly pulled out my phone and hit ‘dial’ for Joseph’s number.
Annabel blinked when her phone went off, and slowly pulled it out. She looked at the screen and sighed,
“You rang the wrong number, Jess.” She spoke into the microphone on her mobile, which came out of the speaker on mine.
“Oh….” I hung up, and everyone laughed, “Well, that was awkward…”
I then rang Joseph, and DOUBLE CHECKED that it was, in fact, his number I was ringing.
“Hello?” A moody voice grumbled,
“Josey!” I sung, before putting the phone on loud speaker,
“Jess?” Joseph asked, sounding slightly flustered.
“Oi! I’mma get to the point, I can’t remember a single thing from last night. Fill me in.” I heard Molly snicker, “Shuddup!”
“…. Really?” Joseph asked, sounding slightly releaved.
“No, I’m fucking with you, I just decided to randomly ring you up like a weirdo and breath into the phone until you hung up! Of course I want to know!”
“Stalker much…” India muttered, a slight smirk on her face. I just pursed my lips.
“Whatever… Anyway, TELL ME!” I heard Joseph sigh.
“From what I remember, I did a performance, we got SUPER drunk with Naruto, Sakura, Kiba and Sai, and your pants fell down in front of Kakashi.” I face palmed, whereas my friends- bunch of asses- all laughed their butts off.
“Seriously?” I groaned, imagining how awkward it would be the next time I saw Kakashi.
“Uhmmm…” Joseph cleared his throat awkwardly. “And one more thing…” I pursed my lips.
“Shoot.”
“We…” Joseph hesitated, “We… Kinda… Had… Sex…” My eyes widened and my face flushed,
“DUDE! LOUD SPEAKER!” Everyone was silent as I snatched up my phone and took it off speaker.
“S-SORRY!” I frowned, before saying:
“I’ll… I’ll call you back..” And hanging up.
I stared at my friends silently, and they all stared back.
I pursed my lips, “I hope we used pretection, I don’t want no little Joseph babies running around, nor do I want an STD. That would be downright unpleasant.” As my friends laughed at my uncaring joke, the events of Konaha’s Halloween came back to me like a slap in the face.
I remember on the way home, when I was kissing Joseph.
And then there was the bed, where, little by little, he started turning into someone else.
“Sasuke!” I gasped, my eyes wide.
Emilia sobered up and frowned at the rouges name, “What about him?” She asked, and everyone stared at me. Tears of regret pricked at the back of my eyes.
“Guys,” I whimpered, “I’ve royally fucked up.”
