I stumbled up my stairs when I got home,
“I truly dislike the way it makes me-“ I flopped onto my bed.

“-tired.” I finished when I sat up. My eyes immediately flickered down to my arm. Sure enough, the words were there. I frowned and grabbed the phone on my bedside table, I then punched in Kakashi’s number.
Don’t ask me how I knew it, I just did.
“Hello?” He answered.
“Oi! Kakashi, come to my house. As in right this instant. No black cats or getting lost.”
“Jess?”
“It’s urgent!” I whined. I heard him sigh on his side of the phone.
“I can’t, I have a mission to prepare for-“
“Fine, I’ll go to your house then.”
“Wai-“ I slammed the phone down and raced out of the house, not bothering to lock the door. I mean, someone already broke in, what’s the point?
“Woah!” Kiba exclaimed with a laugh as I tried to barge past him and his team. “And where are you going?” He asked with a toothy grin.
“Arf!” The grown Akamaru barked while wagging his tail. I stared at him with wide eyes while still jogging on the spot.
“I have many jokes about your size, Akamaru. But right now, there are two things I gotta do.” I held up one finger. “One, I missed you all while I was gone.” I gestured to all of them. All of them being Hinata, who was nervously twiddling her fingers.. Shino, who was standing quietly and observing. And Kiba and Akamaru, who were currently staring at me blankly.
I put up another finger, making two for those who are a little slow.
“Second, I REALLY gotta go!” I quickly pushed through them and sped towards Kakashi’s house. And no, I am not a stalker. Naruto told me where he lived once so I could egg his house. I never got around to it though… y’know, with Kakashi being nice to me and all.

“Kakashi!” I called loudly as I thumped my fist against his wooden door. After a few seconds of me shouting profanities, he appeared.
“What?” He asked groggily, a light scowl showing through his mask. I bolted into the lovely house.
The hallway leading into his lounge room was a nice cream colour with wooden flooring. There was a small desk placed against the wall, it seemed to be the same type of wood as the floor. An appealing sent hung in the air, making me breathe in deeply. I looked along the walls. They were bare, apart from over the small desk I had mentioned, where a landscape painting of Konaha hung.
“Oh, hey Jess! Yes, I’m fine, what about you? That’s great! You would like to come in you say? Well of course you can!” Kakashi chirped over enthusiastically.
“I don’t know who you’re talking to Kakashi,” I stated as I took of my shoes and politely put them with Kakashi’s pair, “But as far as I know, it’s only you and me. And I am over here, so you must be talking to yourself.” I looked at him over my shoulder, “It’s the first sign of madness y’know?” Kakashi anime fell.

After Kakashi finally recovered (the recovery included me poking him while repeating his name over and over until he screamed in my face to, and I quote, SHUT THE HELL UP!) he led me down his hallway and into his well lit lounge room.
