★George's P.O.V★
"Hello again" I said. She had her hair tied up and she looked embarrassed. I found it incredibly cute.
"Hi George" she smiled at me. I couldn't help but smile back as our eyes met. We had so much chemistry..I'd never experienced this before. "What can I get you guys?" she said scanning the other boys faces.
"2 lattes and 2 cappuccinos please" Josh said. "Im josh by the way" he smiled. "Kate, nice to meet you" I replied.
"As seen as george isn't going to introduce us, I'm Jaymi and this is JJ" Jaymi said giving me a sharp look. "Haha, well its nice to meet you!" she said, laughing at Jaymi's response to my sudden silence. I could feel myself blushing, why was I so shy around her? JJ handed over the money as we went and sat at a corner booth.
"Woah mate, you've got it bad for Kate haven't you? I never seen you like that" Josh said seriously. I had to be honest with them now "I can't lie, she's stunning and I want to get to know her but what's the point? We have a whole month in America starting in 2 days. The more I get attached the more I'll miss her" I whined. Just as I'd said it she came over with a tray of drinks. She put them on the table and I watched her carefully, studying her face.
"Pull up a seat" I said without thinking. Don't get attached George I reminded myself. "Sure why not" she smiled at me and I relaxed all of a sudden. She sat beside me and our eyes held onto each other for a few seconds. "So I thought you were staying around here alone?" she said. Her accent was so nice to hear, I could listen to it all day. "Oh we're a band, Union J" said Jaymi. "That's amazing, I love music. I play guitar,it's nothing special bu-"
"you play guitar?" I butted in. She nodded. Wow, reason #52839 to love her. LOVE HER? what was I doing to myself! We chatted for a whole hour and we were still the only people in the shop, but it was only 7am. We had found out a lot about each other, she was so interesting and I just wanted to know more. One thing that puzzled me was that she said she was here alone. Where was her family? Did she mean she was living in the hotel? I didn't want to pressure her into answering all these questions so I let it go for now.
"I better get back to work now" she said as the door bell rand when a couple entered. "I'll text you if that's okay" I blurted out. Wow George, playing it cool.. "of course you can, any time" she left my side and I could smell her perfume. "Hopefully see you soon" she said to Jaymi, Josh and JJ. I watched her walk back to the counter, her apron tied in a neat little bow around her waist, wishing we could talk longer. "George, she is amazing" JJ said which suprised me because he never usually says things like that. "I think your crazy if you let her slip away" Josh said. I took one last look at her before we left. She looked at me and waved. "Bye" I mouthed..and then I winked at her just before shutting the door.
