I was checking that I had everything I needed for what must of been the tenth time when there was a knock on my hotel room door. I peered my head around the corner, expecting it to be the cleaners or something. "Oh George" I said suprised, "I was just about to come up" I said, now smiling from excitement.

"I know, but I wanted to carry your bags for you" he said, smiling with the corner of his mouth and picking my luggage up off the bed. I followed him out of the door, locking it behind me, realising i'd probably never be in that room ever again. As we went down in the lift for the last time, I wanted to make sure that he knew how grateful I was for everything he was doing for me.

"George, please never forget how thankful I am that you've given me this opportunity. This is a fresh start for me and-" he cut me off mid sentance, "no Kate, its a fresh start for us" he said, wrapping his fingers around mine. The lift doors opened and Josh, Jaymi and JJ were waiting on the sofas in the lobby with their suitcases. They stood up as we walked over and we all got into the taxi together.

"You looking forward to 3 blissful weeks in America then?" Josh asked, clearly excited himself. "You bet I am, while you 3 work I can relax" I said laughing. "Oi you, I'll stop this car right now and drop you off" George said smirking, trying to hold a serious face. "Oh sorry...Sir Shelley" I said and we all burst out laughing.

The taxi ride only took half an hour, but I was getting to know everyone a lot better, especially JJ. I had found out that America was a really big deal for him too, his girlfriend Caterina that he had met on the X Factor had gone back to live there for a while and this was the first time he'd seen her in a month so he was so excited. She would be staying in the same villa as us and I was glad, I hadn't had a good girl friend in years and it would be great to have someone to go on shopping trips with when the band was busy.

At the airport we put all of our suitcases on a trolley and JJ pushed it as he was the strongest. I wasn't expecting it to be busy as most flights leave early morning but as we walked through the doors there were crowds of girls screaming, security holding them back. The three boys looked nervously to one another and then to me. "Uh..Kate? Why don't you come with me and we'll get the tickets." Jaymi pulled me away from George and the chaos that was going on. I looked back as Jaymi was pulling me away, the other three boys were taking photos, and signing things and hugging people. It felt strange, ofcourse I knew they'd had success.. but this many people simply following them? It was hard to get my head around.

Me and Jaymi checked in to the flight lounge and were getting coffees out of the machine when he spoke. "Sorry Kate, we didn't really expect anyone to know where we were going" he said apologetically. "Honestly Jaymi, it's fine. I was just a bit shocked! I think I understimated you four" I said smiling. "Why don't you go and meet some fans? I'm fine waiting" I offered. "Are you sure? I can stay" He said, but I could tell he wanted to go. "Go, go, your adoring fans await" I laughed. He got up out of his seat, picking up his coffee to take with him. "They're not fans" he said smiling. "They're Jcats". And with that he crossed the room towards the door.

Within an hour we were all on the plane - George forgot to mention we were going business class. It was insane, you basically got your own bed you had that much room. I was sat in between JJ and George, JJ was watching Toy Story with his headphones in, and George was playing on his iPad. We were only an hour in to the nine hour flight and I was incredibly bored, so I got up to go to the toilet just to stretch my legs.

Just before I locked the toilet door, someone put their foot in the gap and pushed their way inside. "George what on earth are y-" he kissed me with his hands cupping my face and my back against the wall in the tiny space we were in. Our lips parted and we were stood with our noses touching. "What was that for then?" I whispered, slightly giggling. "Oh you just looked a little bored back there" he said smirking and playing with a strand of my hair, his cool breath ticking my neck.

What we didn't expect when we walked out of the toilet was the 2 other people who were waiting outside the door. Two people leaving the toilet together did not look good. A mother waiting with her child gave me a disaproving look and was about to say something to me, when George grabbed my wrist and pulled me down the aisle laughing.

"Oh my god... they think that we..in the toilet..ew" I laughed. "I know!" He giggled. When we got back to our seats we were trying not to laugh but we couldn't help it. Jaymi gave us both suspicious looks, "What's been going on you two, eh?"

"Oh, nothing" George said to Jaymi, winking at me.
