Cay lay in their bed, on her side, caressing her belly.  It had been four hours now, four hours since she'd seen Marco's ex-fiancé f*ck her husband.

Four hours since she'd found out that the woman was still alive.

Four hours since Andre and the team went to go retrieve their boss...and yet with all of this...she felt...nothing.

Was she still in shock?  Was she furious with Marco?  How could she be?  It was painfully obvious that he was unconscious but all she could see was his c*ck, hard and ready as that woman slid down on top of it.

Yes, but that was only because of the pill.  Marco hasn't wanted another woman but you, since you got married my subconscious reminded.

She knew this was true, but still.  And the other thing was the woman didn't put a condom on him and was she on the pill?  She couldn't have her being pregnant by her husband.

Well the good thing is, she would never have the chance to find out.  She was going to personally see to it that Adelaide went straight to hell.

Cay found a new strength to get out of bed as she walked into her bathroom, with a new purpose in her heart.

Brushing her teeth, she pulled her hair into a high ponytail and put on full makeup, including blood red lipstick.  Fitting for the occasion, don't you think?

Next she chose fitted black dress pants that were the same style as skinny jeans and a fitted black sweater that showcased her baby bump.

And for the final piece, her black heels.  Taking a last look in the mirror, Cay was the epitome of a Donna.  Her lips were laying in a thin line, gathering the courage for what she was about to do.

Better to ask for forgiveness, than to ask for permission her subconscious reminded her.  It was right.  She would seek absolution later, when this was over with.

Jules had helped her immediately and said she would take care of Julian.  Jules was too sweet to see or be involved in what she was about to do.  Better that way.

Her phone pinging broke her reverie as she pulled it from her pocket.  It was Dre.

Cay answered, the background noise indicating they were probably getting on the jet.

"Donna, we have Marco.  He's in pretty bad shape, but Dr. Able has him stabilized and ready for the flight.

Also, we have that cagna and the rest of her men.  We will see you soon."

"Thank you Dre.  Hospital first and then I want everyone to join me in The Cells" Cay replied.

"Si, Donna" he said, hanging up.

This was it.  No turning back.  She was about to get blood all over her hands, figuratively and realistically.

Grabbing her IPad, she brought up a surgical page that tells you where all of the major arteries are and where you can injure someone without hitting vital organs.

Clutching the electronic device to her chest, she strode downstairs with purpose, meeting Enzo at the landing.

He bowed respectfully.  "Donna."  "Enzo, I need to know that everyone is behind me and supports me in what I'm about to do.

If not, I will sit by Marco's bedside, like the dutiful wife, and we'll never speak of it again."  She waited for his response.

Looking down at his queen, the man answered.  "We would follow you and our Don anywhere.  I speak for the others when I say you have our support.  Fully Cay."

That was the first time since Cay had known Enzo that he called her by her name and it was a gesture of acceptance and she would gladly take it.

She leaned up and gave the man a peck on the cheek, giving her silent thanks for his support.

"I will require some items.  And when you get them, set them up in one of the rooms in The Cells" she started.

The list was:  a culinary blowtorch, surgical scalpels, latex gloves, a mobile table, serrated hunting knife and straight rubbing alcohol.

With Enzo off to complete her list, Cay headed to the infirmary.  She was mentally trying to psych herself up for seeing what shape her husband was in.

Berto showed up, standing next to her, his hands clasped behind his back.  She knew he wanted to say something, so she broke the ice.

"Berto, we have a good relationship, so please I want you to say what's on your mind.  I won't be offended."

The man cleared his throat and turned to her.  "You have our full support, I just want you to realize that once you go down this slippery slope, you can't take back your actions.

I just want you to make sure because at the end of the day, you will have to look at yourself in the mirror and whether you can handle what you've done."

Cay took his hand, and looked deeply into his kind eyes.  "I hear you and I understand where you're coming from, but let's face it, all bets are off now because of what happened.

I can't let that go Berto.  I wouldn't say this in front of just anyone, but that cagna raped my husband.  He was not consenting nor was he conscious when she forced herself on him."

He nodded as she squeezed and released his hand.  They spent the rest of their time in reflective silence as they waited the arrival of Dre and his team.

Ten minutes later, a gurney being headed by Dr. Able came bursting through the door, flanked by Marco's men.

His face was bloody, his left eye was swollen shut, he had a long cut, probably requiring stitches, on the right side of his face, his chest, which was bare, had several cuts and his right side was severely bruised around his ribs.

His forehead was sweaty, probably because of fever and/or trauma he's suffered.

Dr. Able was barking orders to his staff and then he turned to Cay, filling her in on his injuries and giving her a timeframe on his down time.

"He took ten staples to his side, six stitches to the laceration on his face, he's got several cracked ribs and I'm worried about the condition of his eye but I am going to have to wait for the swelling to go down before I can look at it.

Let me go see to him, and I will keep you updated and I don't want you to worry, he's strong and with time and proper care, he'll bounce back."

Cay took in his words carefully and before he left, she asked if she could see him, she needed to see him, just to make sure he was really here.

Dr. Able had him stabilized, so he told her to take all the time she needed.

Pushing on the door, she heard the soft beeping of the machines, the blood pressure cuff hissing ever so often and then the soft breath sounds coming from her husband.

Cay walked over to his bedside, tears welling up in her eyes at the sight of his body and the pain that he went through.

"Hey baby" she whispered as she moved the hair from his forehead, leaning over she kissed his cheek and started to kiss his lips when she had a flashback of seeing Adelaide kissing him.

"You just get better baby.  We'll get through this and I'm going to take care of everything.  I promise."

After spending half an hour with Marco, she quietly closed the door and was met by Andre, Carmine, and Umberto.

"Let's go."  She said.
