Chapter 15: Afterwards

*Garroth's POV*

We arrived back home, heading upstairs. We stopped in front of our bedroom doors, staring at each other.

"That was a lot of fun," I admitted. Laurance chuckled, running his hand through my hair.

"So, when do you think we should tell everyone?"

I bit my lip, looking down. I was nervous to tell just one person. How could I handle telling everyone?

"Never..?" I drew out the word slightly. Laurance rolled his eyes, putting his hand on his hip.

"We have to tell them eventually. We can't keep them in the blue, forever." Laurance put a finger to his chin, thinking for a moment. "How about we start with one person at a time? Take it slow?"

I nodded, "s-sounds good."

"So, who do we tell first?"

"Aphmau," I immediately replied, not giving it a second thought.

"Aph, huh? When should we tell her?"

"T-Tomorrow is fine..."

"Perfect. Then, how about our siblings after her?"

I nodded, and Laurance kissed my cheeks. We said our goodnights, and went into our respective room. I threw myself on my bed, stretching my arms.

The flower Laurance had given me, fell from my ear. I smiled, picking it up, and twirling it in between my fingers.

I set it down on my nightstand, once I heard a knock at my door. I got up, and answered it, to see Laurance on the other side. He stood there, blushing, holding out a wrapped box.

"Laurance?"

"I...uh...forgot to give you something."

I rose an eyebrow, as Laurance handed me the box. He gestured me to open it, in which I did.

"Laurance..."

"I got it for you, while you went to Aphmau's place. I was going to give it to you during our date, but I kinda...forgot. Heh."

I picked up the gift, holding it in the palm of my hand. I smiled, as I studied it.

It was a little golden sun pendant on a chain necklace.

I looked up at Laurance, who had his own he was showing off. His was a crescent moon.

"It's...so we can match," he nervously chuckled. I smiled, holding the necklace tightly in my palm.

"You...are adorable," I smiled at him. Laurance blushed, shaking his head.

"No, you're the adorable one. I try, though."

"I love it, Laurance. It's beautiful."

"Thanks..."

"I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

"Alright. Goodnight, again, love."

"Goodnight."

I quickly kissed Laurance's cheek, before closing my door. I made my way back to my bed, grabbing my phone, and checking to see if I had any messages. Sure enough, I did.

I sighed, wondering why I had so many messages. I decided to go in order from least to greatest.
