As she walks up to my door with the breakfast, I unlock the door. But I stop suddenly. I drop my keys. I have a bad feeling in my gut. I grab my keys and run to my car.
"Get in R I have a bad feeling."
Her eyes grow for a second. Like a deer in headlights. She puts down the donuts and coffee right inside my door way. She run towards my car.
She knows my gut feelings are almost 100% accurate.
"What do you think it's about?"
"My parents."
She leans back in the seat and lets out a worrying sigh.
I look over as i put the keys in the ignition and she looks sick. Not like a puking sick. Like an *OH SHIT* kind of a sick.
I drive down the road. Then onto the highway. Then to my parents apartment. I only know where it is due to i secretly followed them in R's car a while back. I drive up and stop the car. I park very crooked in a parking place. I rush out almost forgetting my keys.
I run to their apartment and R is right behind me the whole time. Running to their apartment seems to take forever. I get there and hear a small squeak from inside. I turn the knob but its locked. I am starting to get very panicked. I look through the bottom of the door like a child would. I see a shoe, a high heeled shoe. The shoe is bloody and is broken. I knock on the door. nothing. I knock harder. nothing. I start to cry. Then I hear a shuffle and a scream. Then the police show up.
"Move outta the way kids!"
We jolt out of the way of the officers. They knock loudly on the door. again, Nothing. They knock again.
"POLICE OPEN UP!"
We all hear a large sound of breaking glass.
The cops bust through the door. We look inside to see my mom half torn in half by the side and my dad leaned up agains a wall his hands hammered to the wall and head down. He has blood dripping down his shirt, Coming from his neck. I look at the kitchen and the window is broken.
I run away balling my eyes out
