Castiel takes on again off again naps all day. He speaks to a couple nurses vaguely, but other than that, it's quiet. That is, until a whole bunch of people come into the room at once, and Castiel knows school is out.

"Hey, Castiel!" Gabriel greets him, just as he does every day after school. This time, his smile isn't kind, but sad.

Behind him is Michael and Lucifer. Do their classes end when high school ends? Castiel has no clue.

"How are you feeling?" Michael asks politely.

Castiel doesn't answer. He doesn't really feel anything, actually. He's both physically and mentally numb.

"Did you have a nice day?" Gabriel asks.

Pfft. Yeah, like that's possible.

"Are you going to talk to us?" Lucifer asks. "No, you're just going to be a mime? Okay, that works. I guess."

Castiel rolls his eyes, not intended for his brothers to see but just because that was very eye roll worthy.

"Hey, I'm trying!" Lucifer says defensively.

"Sam and Dean said they'll swing by later," Gabriel tells Castiel, as if it will bring any joy to the boy. "Until then, you're stuck with us."

"I feel like we should do something fun," Lucifer announces. "Quick, Bee Movie time. 'According to all known laws of aviation, there's no way a bee should be able to fly. It's wings are to small to lift its fat little boy off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway, because bees don't care what humans think is impossible. Yellow, black, yellow, black, yellow, black, yellow, black. Ooh, let's shake it up a little bit! Black and yellow.'"

"Do you know this whole script off the top off your head?" Gabriel asks.

"Yes."

"Why?" Michael asks, exasperated. He usually is with his twin brother.

"My physics teacher offered to give us an A-plus if we memorized it," Lucifer replies.

"Since when do you care about extra credit?" Gabriel asks.

"Since you could get extra credit for memorizing the Bee Movie script. Obviously, she didn't mean it, but I memorized it anyway, and after ten minutes, she decided I knew it so now I don't have to study for physics anymore."

"Only you, Lucifer. Only you," Gabriel laughs.

"Hey, I'm not the one who memorized the element song from the Big Bang Theory," Lucifer says defensively. "That was all Michael."

"Why the hell did you memorize that?" Gabriel asks.

"Because I had an A and I wanted an A-plus," Michael replies simply.

"You guys are weird," Gabriel laughs.

Castiel has to admit, the thought of Michael singing the element song is almost as funny as the thought of Lucifer reciting the Bee Movie for ten minutes in class.

"What'd we miss?" Sam asks in the doorway.

Great. More people. Someone kill Castiel now. Preferably literally.

"My brothers are weird," Gabriel replies.

"Must be where you get it from," Sam teases.

"And how are you, Cas?" Dean asks.
Castiel doesn't answer.

"Your heart rate monitor says you're still alive, so I'm taking that as a plus."

Then he's taking it the wrong way.
