"Yeah, he's a senior. And god, he's gorgeous. A bit scary-looking, though."
"He's with the populars already? I think that could be a new record..."
"Yeah, he's friends with all of them already, he's even invited to Mark's party this weekend."
"He's going to have a girlfriend by the end of the week, I know it. You never know, it could even be me."
I walked down the hallways and heard almost every student talking and giggling about this new senior. Why was everyone so obsessed with him? He couldn't be anything special. Then again, we haven't got a new student in this place for a while.
I went to my locker and Sophie was already leaning against the wall, waiting for me so we could go to our next class together like we always had.
"Have you heard about-"
"How could I not hear about him?" I interrupted. "Everyone is talking about him. Literally everyone. Why is he so much more special then the rest of the students here?"
"Well first of all, his name is Harr and he looks like an angel. He has an accent as well and we probably have no chance with him. Second of all, he plays football and was the captain of his team in his old school and third of all, he's got that badboy look you'd be a fool to not fall for, and he's already made friends with the 'populars.' I think that sums it all up." She said matter-of-factly. "He's just so gorgeous, and sexy heart-wrenching.. I just... ugh..." She sighed, dramatically slapping her hand over her heart as though cupid had just stuck an arrow through it.
"He can't be that hot." I said, referring to the first thing she said about him, oblivious to everything else she had told me.
"He is, babe. Just wait and see." She said and I rolled my eyes.
"I bet he's an asshole." I began "Guys with all that going on have to know it and take advantage of it. "
"Whatever. You're really ruining this day for me, though. I was perfectly happy knowing there was a new, sexy guy I could obsess over and possibly just walk up and talk to." She said then we looked at each other and burst out laughing, knowing she could never do that. We walked down the hall at our own speed when she said, "Holy shit. He's coming." Under her breath. I looked up when she looked down and saw him wearing a black t-shirt that enclosed his muscles perfectly. His hair was dark brown and curly, a bit messy like he had ran his fingers through it over and over. He had tattoos crawling up both his arms in different shapes and patterns. His eyes were a piercing shade of green and he looked in my direction, glancing up and down my body and grinned slightly like he was pleased with what he saw.
"Prick." I whispered.
He walked by and Sophie looked at big, a wide grin spread across her face.
"He totally just checked you out." She said.
"And I totally don't care." I said as we walked into the classroom.
"Why not? Honestly, half the girls here would die if he glanced at them but he checked you out. The full-on stare and smile." She said and I shrugged.
"I wouldn't want to be with a guy like that..."
"Whatever. More for me." She said, nudging me and we both laughed.
~That weekend~
S: "Hey, my brother can get us into that party ;D Do you want to come?"
B: "I'm not sure... I don't really feel like going to a party with a bunch of people I don't know."
S: "You'll know me :)"
