Treacherous - Taylor Swift
"There's a party tonight." Harry told me.
"That's nice." I laughed, sorting through my books to find my English assignment.
"I'm kind of hinting that you should go." He said with a smile.
"I'm not a big party person." I found the English paper and placed it on top of my book.
Denying his offer wasn't that hard. I was still with Adam. I knew that the day in the parking lot was just a misunderstanding and that Adam was a good guy. Harry was the complete opposite. He was cunning and lied one too many times. He was trying to do anything he could to pull me from Adam and secure myself to him.
I knew Harry gave me something Adam didn't, but the more I was around him, I didn't know if it was a good thing. I think it was just this phase of temptation into his darkness or wanting to know what made him this way, but I knew I had to stay away. I had to.
Letting him kiss me in the library was wrong and I so was cheating on Adam. I knew if I told that to Harry, he'd come up with a new definition of "cheating", but letting some other guy kiss me while enjoying it wasn't anything short of cheating.
He was occupying my thoughts too much and I couldn't let that happen. He'd end up taking every bit of me and leave me with absolutely nothing.
"Come on, it'll be fun." He insisted, nudging me with his elbow.
"I'd rather stay home and watch movies or something than go to some random persons house and get drunk off my ass." I told him and he let out a small laugh.
"Of course you would."
"What's that suppose to mean?" I questioned.
"You practically scream 'I like to stay home on Friday night by myself.'"
"That's kind of insulting." I told him while forcing back a smile.
"You know it's true." He smirked.
"Maybe a little." I admitted, my smile breaking through just before I felt a hand slip into mine.
"You ready?" Adam asked and I smiled up at him.
"Yeah." I told him and Harry shot him a hard glare.
"Always nice seeing you two together." He spoke cooly and Adam nodded.
"Definitely is." He replied, slipping his arm around my waist and pulled me into his body.
"I'll see you later, Blair."
He leaned forward, pressing a kiss to my cheek and smirked, glancing at Adam before walking away.
I was shocked at his actions, yet a part of me knew that was something he'd do to get at Adam.
"What was that?" He asked and I laughed, kissing him softly,
"Jealousy." I told him. "And you might want to know it's starting to shine through you as well."
He chuckled.
"Sure." He said as I closed my locker and began walking to English. "You know I really don't like him."
"Really? I haven't had a single clue." I joked and he rolled his eyes.
"I'm serious, Blair. I don't like you hanging around with him."
"I'm not 'hanging around with him.'" I denied. "He just happens to be with me. Too much."
"Isn't that basically the same thing?" He asked.
