I got to school and went to my locker before getting to my class when the final bell would ring. I sat in my usual seat beside Sophie, then Adam walked in. He took a seat in the empty desk in front of my and smiled.
"Hey, Blair. It feels like I haven't seen you in a bit. Where were you?" He asked and smiled. I felt paranoia and guilt kick in, wondering if he knew about Harry.
"I wasn't feeling to well to go out. I think it was just that twenty-four hour bug." I said and looked over at Sophie to see her raising her eyebrows at my evident lie. She always knew when I was lying.
"Oh, well I'm glad you're feeling better." He said and I nodded.
"Me too." I agreed and Mrs. Holifield walked into the room, making Adam face the front.
I looked over at Sophie. I have her that I-didn't-know-what-to-do-say-look and she rolled her eyes, smiling.
At lunch, Adam managed to find me first and slipped his hand into mine comfortably as we walked into the cafeteria. We sat down with Sophie and hallways through eating, I felt a pair of eyes glaring at me.
I looked around the room to see Harry at a table with his friends, picking at his fries and looking right at me, He didn't even care that he was making it obvious. It made me feel almost angry that he did this when I was with Adam or talked about him. He acted like he owned me and I was his, and no one else's.
"Blair?" Sophie said and I turned back around.
"I asked if you were still going to come with me to that big sale in town on Friday?"
"Yeah. Of course." I said and smiled.
"I don't see the big deal with shopping. Why do women like it so much?" Adam questioned and I heard Sophie saying some witty remark back at him, but my eyes flickered over to Harry's again, long enough to see he was still staring.
I put my hand in Adam's as he talked at he smiled down at me, before continuing with the conversation.
I then looked back at Harry, seeing he was clearly pissed of, standing up and throwing his food away before walking out of the room quickly.
Jealousy. Doesn't feel too nice, does it?
~Friday~
I pulled a leather jacket over my shoulders and some sneakers, grabbing my handbag and waited by my front door, until I saw Sophie's car nearing by.
She stopped in front of my house and I walked out to her vehicle, getting in the passenger's side.
"Let's go! I need to get a bunch of stuff." She said contently.
"Need or want?" I asked with a smirk as we began to drive away.
"What's the difference?" She laughed and I rolled my eyes, laughing along with her.

There wasn't many places to shop in our small town, but the backseat of the car as already half way filled with bags.
We walked into a small men and women's boutique and I walked looking at the different tops when I spotted Adam.
"Hey," I said and smiled, walking over to him.
"Hey, stranger." He replied and kissed my cheek, causing me to blush.
"Fancy seeing you here. I thought you didn't understand why shopping was such a big deal?" I said and he shrugged.
"I may have changed my mind. It's just amazing." He joked. "I just needed to get a few things. And what other time is perfect then when everything is on sale?"
