Not Part of the Plan

Tenacious

   Gladion subconsciously pushed in front of everyone, shielding them. "You can't win against us. Haven't you noticed your grunts are useless?" His tone was toxic, shooting chills down Hau's spine.

   "That's not nice, yo! We do our best, yo!" One grunt called out. Pokemon began to pour out from the grunts, Zubats, Rattatas, whatever they could get their hands on. It was an ocean, and they were surrounded.
  
   Moon and Hau shared a look, before throwing out Dartrix and Brionne. Gladion nodded, releasing Silvally. They began taking out pokemon, dodging moves. But there were simply too many opponents, and even Hau could notice they were fighting a losing battle.

   "This will all be over if you hand over the Raichu!" Plumeria
snickered.

   Hau paused, staring at the huge battle. Was it worth it..? Even if they kept fighting, would they eventually lose and be forced to give over Raichu?

   That's when he felt it, his Z-Ring began to pulsate. He noticed Moon's was as well. Gladion didn't have one, but even Silvally seemed to notice an immense power was building up between the three pokemon. "N-Nebby, get down!" Lillie yelled, as it flew up above them. It was glowing, and with it's glow, Dartrix, Brionne, and Silvally powered up, ready to unleash a Z-Move.

   "Our beliefs.. Our wants are one with each other's, and our pokemon!" Moon growled at the Team Skull leaders. "You'll never beat us, because you're corrupt! We've bonded with our pokemon, not taken them away from their owners! This is our power!"

   At once, the three pokemon met in the middle of the fray, and a bright light shot above them. "Tenacious Throttle!" The three trainer's voices rang out. Light engulfed the area, as everyone flinched. And then everything was dark, silent. A beautiful night. Waves could be heard gently lapping up against the docks.

   Gladion blinked for a moment, as he realized the enemy pokemon were all fainted. He then noticed even their pokemon had fainted from the immense power they had released. Finally, he realized Hau's arms were wrapped around him, his face buried into Gladion's chest.

   "Let's go." Guzma grabbed Plumeria's arm, seeing she was about ready to snap. "Y'all are strong. We've been beaten, and that's all there is to it. Let's go now."

   Moon sighed in relief. "We did it! We beat Team Skull, all of them!" Adrenaline raced through her. They really won!

   Lillie pulled Nebby close, "I didn't know you could use your power to boost other pokemon like that!"
Nebby let out a happy sounding noise.

   Gladion hugged Hau tight, as he noticed Hau was a bit shaken up. Was that too intense for the gentle boy? "That was.. scary. I thought everyone's pokemon would be taken because of me." Hau looked up at him.

   "We'd never let that happen." Moon reassured, joining the hug. "C'mon, let's go home. Sleepover at Gladion's!"

   Gladion almost argued against it, but decided not to. He'd never be able to change Moon's mind. The tired group made their way to the motel. "I only have one bed, you know."

   "We'll fit." Moon insisted. And the group piled into the bed, squeezing against each other. Gladion felt a bit irritated, but Hau slipped in beside him, and it felt worth it now. He kissed Hau on the forehead, wrapping his arms around him. He knew by morning, Hau would have stolen the position of being the big spoon. He was just so clingy in his sleep. Moon and Lillie hugged tightly, foreheads connected. Lillie fell asleep, followed by Hau.

   "We really scored, getting such kind hearted lovers." Moon grinned over at him.

   "We really did." He looked at Hau. "I love him. He's everything I wish I was. I want to be as accepting and kind as he is.."

   "You already are, you're just stubborn and grouchy about it. I think you're pretty great." She laughed a bit. "Now let's get some sleep before we wake them up."

   Moon fell asleep, leaving Gladion to himself. I really am lucky to have them. He fell into a deep sleep.
