"Let's just move on, okay?" Gladion groaned, rolling over. He'd woken up to a flurry of questions about his amnesia, which had faded.
"Only if you admit I saved you~" Hau grinned, having the upper hand.
Gladion glanced at him, before rolling his eyes, and then quickly kissing him. The unexpected kiss made Hau melt, because wow love was such a powerful thing. When you kiss someone you love, and then pull back from the kiss and look into their eyes and just want more? It was so strong and moving. Unfortunately, they had things to do.
"Good, that shut you up." Gladion teased. "Now, as I was trying to say. It's not wise to attack the foundation. Three kids against an evil corporation? I'd rather not. Let's be realistic, we have slim chances of making it back out if we return. I think it's best if we lay low for now. She'll be looking for either Lillie or me. That's when we should go, when she's out looking for us."
"You never said your mom was this extremely evil." Hau blushed a bit, shouldn't he have been told before?
"I never wanted to. She was supposed to be in my past. It's as you said yourself, stupid, let's build the future." Gladion changed clothes, out of the pristine white clothing he'd been given.
Hau looked away. Was he supposed to look away? In a relationship, is privacy just optional? Well, Gladion didn't say anything before changing, so maybe he was supposed to look. He glanced back, and felt lucky his blush wasn't too noticeable. "I hope you don't mind me borrowing some clothes?" He pulled on a sweater.
'Most likely never worn,' He noted to himself, as Hau never wore anything long sleeve. Even in the snow, what was he thinking?
"S-Sure! Keep it, even!" Hau was flustered, and he didn't even know why. Wasn't he supposed to be used to the relationship? Every day still felt like an adventure, well, technically a lot was going on, but it still counts right?
Gladion simply awarded him with a smile, "Anyway, I was hoping we could visit Lillie. Let her know everything is okay. Do you live with the Kahuna, by the way?" Gladion asked curiously.
"Oh, yeah, but he's out at the moment. Said he was going on a spiritual trip, whatever that means."
Hau answered, crossing his legs."Good, then we'll all be sleeping here until this problem is solved." Gladion replied, watching Hau carefully.
"What? Why?" Hau stood up.
"Just to be safe, no one should be alone. You've seen how she swiped me with out anyone's notice at the party. We don't need a repeat of that, with say, Lillie. So for the next few nights, it'll be a sleepover here, alright?" The tone of his voice wasn't much of a question, but a rhetorical request.
"Fine, fine." Hau agreed. Yet a part of him dreaded not being alone with Gladion. Maybe he could convince Moon and Lillie to sleep in a different room.. Then they could..
"You look like you're scheming something, let's go." Gladion cut the thought off, before exiting. Hau followed.
Hau sent a few texts to meet at the Malasada shop. Within 15 minutes, everyone had arrived. Lillie hugged Gladion as soon as she saw him, glad he was okay.
Once everyone was seated, Gladion told them the plans. "How will we know when she's out looking?" Moon asked, poking at her malasada.
"Simple. Just like last time. We need to throw a HUGE party. Plaster a sign on every pole on the island. Even some on the other islands. A sign that'll say we're hosting it!" Gladion grinned.
"How will we know it's reached her?" Moon questioned, sliding her unwanted malasada over to the excited Hau.
"She always finds out. She has employees all over. It's possible we're being listened to right now.." He looked around. Hau excitedly ate his extra malasada, void of the tension at the table.
"Anyway, we should get back to Hau's. It's dangerous out here, obviously. At least there, we aren't surrounded by strangers." A while later, and they were back at home.
"Where are we having this party?" Lillie asked, looking at pictures Hau had on the wall.
"Here." Gladion answered, much to Hau's surprise.
"I think not!" Hau hissed. "Hala would kill me!"
"Please, Hau. It's part of the plan. Last second, we have to cancel the party. Have everyone spread the word, not by paper. No one will think to tell the Aether employees, since no one would know. Then we let Lusamine come here, straight into a trap filled house!" Gladion grabbed Hau's hand, pleading.
"This isn't Home Alone! This is real life!" Hau hissed. "Aren't you supposed to be the one saying this! You're supposed to be the one shooting down my crazy ideas!"
"You taught me crazy ideas work, Hau. We can do this! We have Moon's crazy pranking skills, and we have your never ending ideas and optimism, and we have Lillie's hardworking, protective attitude! We can definitely pull this off!" He concluded.
Hau stared into his eyes, and ultimately, that's why he agreed to it. "Fine. Just please don't ruin the house." Hau sighed.
"Right! Let's get to work!"
