"Are you alright?" Gladion began to shake Hau a bit, as the boy had been groaning in his sleep. Lillie and Moon had left after they woke up, but he had decided to let Hau sleep. It had been a long day before, of course.
But now, he wondered if Hau was alright. It was obvious he was a bit shaken up after the night before. "Hey." He again spoke up. Hau simply wasn't waking up. "Hau..?" Slowly the boy's eyes opened, before fluttering.
"Gladion? What are you.. doing here?" Hau was still groggy, but Gladion hugged him. "Stupid.. You're in my room, after all, you're my boyfriend."
"I am..? Wow. I guess I got real lucky!" Hau hugged him tightly, pulling him down on to the bed. He planted a kiss on the blonde's lips.
"You really did." Gladion snickered. "Who wouldn't want me? Now get up, I want to take you somewhere." He pulled away from Hau.
"I don't have a change of clothes though!" Hau protested, whether he didn't want to get up or if it was a genuine concern was a mystery.
"I have jeans, and i washed the sweater from before. I'm sure red will look good on you." He threw the clothes at Hau, hiding his smile.
Hau sighed, "Fiiiiine." Before changing. Gladion had a hard time, but he didn't peak at Hau.
"Let's go. And I was right, red looks good on you." Gladion said, as Hau looked down at his outfit. It felt.. wrong.
"Pants feel so.. restricting! Why would you wear them so tight?" Hau complained, as he took Gladion's hand.
Gladion gently pulled away, and saw Hau's confused look. "I.. I'm not sure about being so open with our relationship.. Right now."
"Er.. Sorry, but I don't get it. You're my boyfriend, right?" Hau felt a bit hurt.
"And you know I love you, right?" Gladion retorted; but Hau nodded. "Then it shouldn't matter. I don't know about you, Hau, but I didn't even realize I liked guys before I met you. I'm not even sure I'm fully gay. I do love you, but I'm just not ready, alright?"
"Alright!" Hau nodded. He knew to respect boundaries. He would be ready when Gladion was. "Where are we going, anyway?"
"You'll see." Gladion led him to the beach, where he noticed the sand was pitch black. Hau stopped when he saw the entry for the ghost type trial.
"Don't tell me we're going in there!" Hau whined.
"Oh, we're going in there. Moon got special permission from Acerola! I noticed that yesterday you were really shaken up and scared, so let's face our fear together!" Gladion smiled triumphantly.
"Let's face.. our fear?" Hau repeated. He slowly realized... Gladion has a fear of ghosts!?
"You know what I mean.. Your fear is my fear, or something.. Let's go in!" Gladion reached for the door, before turning to Hau. "Actually, how about you lead? It's your challenge, after all."
Hau grinned to himself. He wasn't actually too afraid of ghost pokemon, but it seemed Gladion was. He opened the door, and immediately felt the temperature drop. It was chilly, and he was thankful that Gladion had made him wear the red sweater.
Gladion followed behind, looking around anxiously. "Go ahead, face your fears!"
Hau grinned, as a Gengar phased through the wall behind Gladion. "Don't worry, I think I JUST got over it."
"Great!" Gladion felt a tap on his shoulder, before freezing. "Hau, please tell me Moon is behind me."
Hau shook his head. Gladion slowly turned his head, before seeing the Gengar, letting out a high pitched yelp and running into Hau, closing his eyes. He threw out Silvally as the Gengar phased back through the wall. "Pursuit! Crush Claw! X-Scissor! Multi-Attack!" Gladion panicked, letting out a flurry of attacks. Nothing was there, and he only managed to make the wall less stable and dented.
"Are you sure it's me we should be worried about?" Hau laughed, feeding Silvally a pokebean. "I get what you're doing. I wasn't scared of anything like this yesterday. I was scared of losing my pokemon. Maybe even losing you, Moon, or Lillie." He smiled. "But I appreciate this, too. It was fun seeing you get scared." He patted Gladion on the back.
"I just wanted to help. I guess I'm more scared of ghost pokemon.. Lillie was scared of pokemon too." Gladion laughed, looking up at Hau.
"Do you and Lillie know each other? You talk like you do..?" Hau asked, curiously.
"Er, we have a sort of past." He pushed his hair out of the way of his eye. "I'm surprised you can't tell what it is.. The hair? The eyes? Shes my sister." Hau's jaw dropped.
"Really!? That.. makes sense! I don't know how I haven't seen that before.." Suddenly, a Haunter appeared behind them, letting out a sharp growl to scare them. They both yelled in fear, before rushing out of the old store.
The sunset was just beginning, and it reflected across the water. Gladion sat at the edge in the sand, and Hau joined him. He let his hand wander to Hau's, holding it tightly. "Not a lot of people are around here." He noticed. They leaned their heads against each other's.
Gladion kissed him, listening to the waves lapping against the sand. Hau climbed on top of him, pinning his arms to the sand. "Aren't I supposed to do that?" Gladion asked, shooting the boy a devilish smile.
"Maybe we'll fight over it." He kissed him, deep into it. Gladion sat up, Hau now in his lap. He smiled, staring into Hau's eyes as the sun finally went out of view, darkness engulfing the beach.

"It wouldn't be wise to push forward. With out Cosmog, there's no way to open that world, Madame Lusamine." Wicke sighed.
"And who let Lillie escape with it?" Lusamine shot Wicke a glare, shutting her up. "Soon, I'll purge this world with something beautiful."
