Kaname x Zero

Chappie 4: Confessions

"Yuki!" Yuki snapped her head up and looked at Yagari. "I wasn't sleeping!" Yagari looked at Yuki as though she were an idiot. "You and Zero need to find time to sleep outside of class." Yuri scratched the back of her head a dumb smile on her face. "Haha yeah..." 'Why doesn't ever yell at Zero?' Kaname cradled Hikarou close to his chest and smiled as the infants eyes fluttered closed and sucked his thumb. He quickly frowned on the other hand as knock wrung at the door. "Master Kaname? A signature of yours is needed." Kaname looked at the baby and thought for a moment. He then laid the child down in the middle of his bed and opened the door. "What needs signed?" Takuma smiled and holder the clip board out to the Vampire Prince. "It's from Cross. He wishes to have Yuki transfered to the Night Class and he wants you to sign a good time to discuss the information." Kaname sighed and took the clip board signed it and handed the paper back to Takuma. "Is there anything else?" Takuma looked as though he was about to say something but changed his mind. "Nothing else. Thank you." The blonde bowed and turned around as Kaname nodded and shut the door. He then laid down next to the baby and cradled him so that he wouldn't fall off the bed, and fell into a peaceful sleep.
Just Before the Night Class Leaves:
Kaname walked over to his window and opened it as he heard Zero knocking on the door. "Wheres Hikarou?" Zero swooped on the second the window opened. "Right there." Kaname pointed at the bed as Hikarou looked up at the silver haired boy walking over to him and smiled raising his arms up for Zero to hold him. Zero smiled and held the tiny being as if his life depended on it. Kaname smiled at the two, but quickly put on a serious face as he began to speak. "Zero. I have something very important I'd like to discuss with you." The silver haired boy looked at the Prince with his usual grump look. "What?" "I-" Kaname was interupted as knock was heard at the door followed by Takumas voice. "Lord Kaname. It's time to go." The brunette opened the door just enough that he could make slight eye contact. "Go on without me. I am not feeling well this evening." "Yes Kaname." Kaname waited until he knew the Night Class had gone, shut the door and turned his attention back to the two boys. "The almighty Kaname skipping classes to speak to a Level D Vampire Hunter? What would the others say?" Zero smirked at his sarcasm. "You know Zero I would watch it. I could take that child from you rather easily." Zero smacked Kaname. "Just know this Kaname. If you ever get Hikarou taken away from me I will shoot you." Zero moved the babies haor and began to mumble. "Then I'd kill myself." Kaname pretended not to hear the last part knowing he wasn't meant to. "What would Yuki think of you if you shot me?" "What should I care?" Kaname shrugged and gestured to the couch he had in his room. "Would you please sit down?" Zero sighed but sat down putting Hikarou on his knee and bouncing him. The room quickly filled with the child's laughter. "So what did you need to speak to me about?" Kaname sat down next to the silverette and looked into his eyes. "I want to help you raise Hikarou." Zero snorted. "Good one Kaname. Next you'll be telling me your actually in love with me and want to date me." Hurt made its way into Kanames eyes and Zero began to feel conflicted. "Are you being serious?" Kaname nodded. "Yes Zero. I admit it. I like you."
