It had been about a month since the accident. Zero was healing up nicely and he felt as though he couldnt be happier. He had the perfect little baby and a great little boyfriend. Not to mention that his parents were back in his life and they patched things up. Everything seemed to be going well. Today was his birthday and he had hoped no one knew. Cross never really figured it out therefore neither did Yuki. Having his parents in town worried him. When they were younger his parents would always throw them a party so that the boys jnew they still remembered and cared. The silver haired boy finished tightening his tie before he leaned down and picked up Hikaru. The infant vampire was now on the verge of becoming a toddler. It truly throws Zero off. He knows that vampires age quickly then stop but he was used to normal children who didn't turn into toddlers after 7 months. As he heard a knock Zero walked to the door and opened it revealing Cross. "Why dont you skip class today Zero." "Why would I do that?" "Your parents would like to spend the day with you." The young boy grimaced bit agreed. Cross led him to town. Once there they walked into a restaurant almost causing him to drop the infant. "Surprise!" Kaname, Yuki, Shiki, Takuma, Cross, Mr. And Mrs. Kiyru and to Zeros surprise Aido was there. Kaname walked up to Zero and grabbed his hand before kissing his cheek. "Happy birthday." Zero looked at his parents who smiled brightly. "We didn't know that you hadnt told anyone. And we asked Cross what he was doing for you." The silver haired boy rolled his eyes. "Its fine." He then looked at Kaname who took Hikarou. "I wasn't planning on telling you either just so you know." Kaname smiled before kissing Zero once more. "I dont care." It was a simole party of mostly talking but it was enjoyable. It was as if everything was finally good in the young boys life. It was far from perfect due to the fact that his brother wasnt there and still being doomed to a level e but life was good and he was finally happy.
