"You and Kaname are what?" Zero looked at his mom as Kaname, for the first time in his life, felt awkward and wasnt sure what to do with himself. "Kaname and i are dating. He wants to help me raise Hikarou." "Zero." The silver haired boy looked up at his father and handed the small child over to Kaname. "Would everyone who isn't my parents leave. That means you too Kaname." The three people left the room and Zero began to speak. "As much as I wish none of this happened it did. Out of it I became a Level D vampire. I was turning into a Level E but he gave me his blood. I hated him for so long and when he confessed to me I didn't knoe if I really liked him or not but now I do. I love Kaname and I'm actually really excited to raise this baby with him. If you guys can't except that then... You were dead a few days ago. It wouldn't be hard to adjust to it. But I would like you guys to be a part of this life I have chosen for myself. I used to think Cross idea was stupid but I understand it now." The couple looked at each other before his mom came and sat next to him to hug him. "I dont want to lose you again. And if it means putting my beliefs aside then I will." Zeros father sighed before rubbung his face clearly agitated. "As much as I dont approve of this right now I will play along. Who knows maybe we will come around to it just as you did." For the first time in a long time Zero smiled. It wasnt that of what he did with Hikarou but a genuine smile. It seemed as though there was no more darkness in the world. Everything that was heavy and blocking out life had been lifted into that of love and joy. His parents smiled back at him before letting the others back inside. Kaname handed Hikarou back to Zero who bounced him.
A couple days later:
"Be careful Zero your going to hurt yourself." The Silver haired boy shot daggers at his lover as he opened the door to his room. He then went and sat on his bed immediately. For some reason the walk from the gate to his room took a lot out of him. True he was injured but that doesnt mean he should be as exhausted as he felt. "You finally got a baby crib?" Zero looked over confused. "No." The two walked over to the crib and read a note that Zeros parents had bought it for the baby. The two smiled and layed Hikarou down before getting into the Level D's bed. As the two snuggled dirty thoughts began to creep into Zeros mind.
