It had been a few months since Emma met Killian. Whenever Aunt Cora and the sisters left, she would sneak off to see him. Even knowing Emma had a child, it didn't seem to stop Killian. At least once a week they'd meet and when they did they spent it together-the three of them. Emma and Killian were getting to be best of friends. And one day after a late night at the tavern, both being slightly drunk, ended up in the back of a barn making out.
A few hours later, when they stopped, they laid next to each other on the moist ground staring up at the stars.
"Beautiful isn't it?"
"Yeah." Emma nodded.
"The endless possibilities."
Emma nodded her head. She pointed to one of the stars. "That's mine. After I was born, my parents named that star after me."
"Oh wow." Killian smiled.
Emma realized how late it was. She grabbed her clothes that were spread out and threw them on. Jumping up, she fixed her hair and ran out of the barn. She ran as fast as she could not looking back. Making it back to the house, she snuck inside.
The lights flickered on. By the switch was Cora.
"A..Aunt C..Cora--" Emma stammered.
"Save it!" She snapped.
Emma looked down.
"Where were you?"
"Trail ride. Lost track of time." Emma mumbled.
"To your bed now."
Emma shuffled her feet to her room.

The next day Emma woke up feeling nauseated. She ran to the bathroom and threw up. She put a hand to her forehead. It was hot. Great I'm sick. She thought.
Being sick didn't stop her cousins. She was bossed around all the time. Aunt Cora made her go out in the pouring rain to do some errands and farming in the backyard.
