It had been a few weeks since Emma was out with Killian and a few weeks since she was caught being out late. Emma really needed to get out so she could go see Henry.
From inside cleaning the floor, Emma could hear hooves clomping against the heavy gravel around the house. There was a knock at the door. Regina ran to open it. Out the threshold was a scrawny squire.
The squire pulls out a scroll and reads from it. "The king of Draysdon had requested all the fair ladies to attend the ball in order for his son to find a suitable wife." He handed Regina the invite.
Regina closed the door and squealed. "Zelena! Mother! Come here!"
They ran in. "What?"
"There's to be a ball! In the palace."
"A ball?" Cora raised an eyebrow.
"Yes mother. A ball. According to the scrawny man-"
"Squire." Emma said.
"Squire," Regina shot Emma a glare, "the king wants to find a suitable wife for his son."
"We can go!" Zelena exclaimed.
"That means I can as well." Emma piped up.
Regina and Zelena laughed, soon accompanied by Cora.
"Sweetheart, you aren't suitable to be a wife. Look at you." Cora said laughing.
"Oh your majesty, can you hold my broom?" Zelena laughed.
Emma sighed deeply. She couldn't believe Killian would do something like this. Oh wait. Yes she could. All he is, is a spoiled, rich brat who can do whatever he wanted. Oh god. Am I falling for him? NO. IMPOSSIBLE! I can't be. I pulled out my necklace and bit my lip. August was the love of my life. But I knew I had to move on--he would have wanted that.
"Earth to Emma." Regina waved her hand in front of her face.
Emma snapped back to reality. "Oh sorry?"
"Iron my dress. Mend it to look better." Zelena commanded.
"Yes Zelena."
"Mine too."
"Yes Regina."
