Everyday for the past few weeks, Killian, Brennen and Liam took turns in the physician's house watching Emma. After being shot with several poison arrows, Emma showed no change in her condition.

"Swan, please come back to me." Killian placed her hand in his. He looked at Emma for a reaction. He didn't move his eyes off her. Even after a solid 10 seconds there was no response from Emma. Not even in the slightest.

"Mom. It's Henry. You've gone through so much. You can get past this. Lilli and I need you. This kingdom needs you. Papa needs you." Henry sat on the chair right next to the bed Emma was laying on.

It took Killian a second to process what Henry said. "You called me papa."

Henry nodded. "Because you are. The man that left us was no father to me but from the moment we met you have been there for us."

Killian smiled softly. "I love you, boy."

Henry gave Killian a hug. "And I, you."

The nurses entered the room. They changed the cloths on Emma's wounds and gave her some medication. In that time, Henry and Killian switched out with Brennen.

On the way back to the castle grounds, Killian and Henry ran into Snow and David.

"Grandpa, grandma!" Henry ran towards them and gave them a hug.

"Hi Henry." Snow and David smiled.

"Mr and Mrs Charming." Killian nodded.

Snow looked at Killian. She studied him. She looked deep into his heavy eyes. Then slowly, Snow smiled softly. "We're sorry we confused you with Cedric. After the past few weeks it's been very clear that you're nothing like him. Nor are you like Henry's father."

"What's been clear is you love our daughter and will be there for her whenever she needs it. That's all we can ask for. Snow and I know Emma is in the best hands." David said.

Killian smiled. "Thank you. It means a lot. I just hope she survives this."

"Of course she will. She's a Charming." David said proudly and reassuringly.

"Grandpa have you found Talia?" Henry asked.

"The knights are looking. She couldn't have gone far. We'll find her soon." David promised.

The ground is lumpy as if the bed was made up of earth and rocks. Clothes felt as damp as a flower in the dew of the dawn. Half wondering if what all happened was a dream or real. Now, awake, perhaps more fully awake than ever. There are no paths around and no sign of another person. I am alone with the birds who make their carefree song. This bizarre nightmare is Emma's alone. It's worse though than it first appears, but it's not.

Before knowing it her arm moved. Her hand grabbed the head board, propping her body up. One by one, her fingers moved. Soon it was her whole body.

As much as the nurses told her to open her eyes, she refused. Saying she'd open them to see her fiancé and her fiancé only.

So the nurses called him.

"Swan open your eyes." Killian sat on the edge of her bed.

Slowly, blinking her eyes, Emma finally opened them seeing Killian in front of her. "I love you." Emma spoke quietly.

He looked in her beautiful clear eyes and fell in love with her all over again. "I love you too." Killian leaned forward and kissed her forehead.

"How long was I out?"

"A few weeks. It's a miracle you survived."

"How many arrows?"

"Ten."

Emma's thoughts were interrupted when there was a knock at the door. It was Brennen.

"Can I come in?" Brennen asked.

Emma nodded and Brennen walked in. "What do you want, sire?"

"If it's alright with you, considering it would be Killian's second marriage, I would like it if you-"

"I would love to marry your son." Emma beamed.

"So much for taking it one step at a time." Killian laughed. He kissed Emma and slid the engagement ring on her finger. "Back to where it belongs."

"The wedding will occur as soon as you're up for it, Miss Swan." Brennen smiled and exited the room.

"We're getting married!" Emma squealed. "Finally."

Killian laughed. "Good because your parents and I are finally on good terms."

"I'm glad." Emma kissed him. "I love you Killian Jones."

"I love you more Emma Swan."

Emma shook her head. "It's Emma Jones."

"Alright then. I love you more Emma Jones."
