It was dark and cold. The body he held in his hands was one of a person he had loved so dearly yet lost so easily. It was Myra, his girlfriend of five years. "Why would you leave me like this, especially here, now?", he said while clutching her arm. "I will find him and make him suffer". Alex awoke from the dream with a scream of pure terror that awoke Myra. "What's wrong, sweetie?", she asked in a scared tone. "Nothing, go back to sleep, please".
That was a year ago. Her funeral was short but dark and unsuspected. There was nothing Alex could have done. He had been at work when the man broke into their house and shot her in the head while she was asleep. No one knew who it was and the police had no leads on tracking him down. "I'll find him and make him pay for what he has done, I swear" he said right before they lowered the casket into the ground. "I promise". As Alex walked away from the grave his brother, Tommy walked up and greeted him. "Hey man, I know it must be hard but don't waste the rest of your life trying to do the impossible". "What would you do if it was your wife!", he screamed as he started to cry once again.
After a week of contemplating whether to resolve the problem of his wife's killer or to go to the police, Alex had decided. He was going to avenge his wife even if it meant going to prison for the rest of his life. He promised this as they lowered her into that damned grave if only he had been home he could have saved her. His boss had told him that if he didn't come in he would fire him. If he could have just stayed home it wouldn't have come to this. But he would realise a new power, a new hatred caused by other peoples ignorance this power was wrath, one of the seven deadliest sins known to mankind. They would all regret their actions, they would all die.
