⌈chapter twenty one⌋

In the last chapter...

I started to feel sick as I fell to the floor. The last thing that I heard before I closed my eyes was "This town is about to get weird."

I rub my head and groan. Where was I? I tried to look around the room but all I saw was blackness.

"Should we wake her?" I heard a voice ask.

"I dunno. It's Bill's girlfriend anyway."

I let out an angered sigh. "We are NOT dating!" 

I rub my eyes as roughly as I could, but to no avail, my eyes still saw black. I clenched my hands in fists and choked back a sob. I came here for the summer and here I am, no vision, people calling me "Bill's girlfriend" even though I'm not, and I also think I'm losing my sanity. 

I stood up, slowly moving my arms about, trying to find some sort of wall, but my arms only cut through the thin, quiet air. 

"You know, if there IS anybody in here, just know, I do know you're in here, you might as well tell me your name." I challenged out, still flinging my arms around.

A silence was all I was given.

I continued to swing my arms around until...

I hit a metal bar. 

I screeched out in pain, flinching my arm back and rubbing it soothingly.

I felt tears jerking at my eyes, the pain was so much to take. I sat myself down slowly, taking in deep breaths and feeling hot tears stream down my face. 

"Ow... Ow... Ow..." I whisper out, tipping my head back, coughing harshly.

I whimper some more as I continued to cry. I heard some footsteps, but I didn't move. My arm was in so much pain, I could only focus on that.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" A voice inquired, chuckling darkly.
