*Lauren's POV*

Time flew by pretty quickly and before I knew it, a week and a half had passed and not only as I off grounding but all of my detentions had been served. Here I sat, in Camila's room, on her bed. It was nice to finally be able to get out of my house and be a little free, you feel me? I laid back on Camila's bed and surveyed her room, it seems like every time I'm in this room there's something different about it.

There was posters everywhere, ones of Ed Sheeran, one direction and many other artists she adored. There was even pictures of me, Dinah, Ally, and Normani on her walls. One picture that always made me smile was the photo booth one of me and her, it was taken last year on the pier. It started out cute with us doing the duck face and just a simple smile and the pictures ended with her ice cream smashed in my face.

That day was beautiful, I remember the reason we had gone there. She was really sad about getting a bad grade and I was determined to make her feel better, so that's what I did. I took her to the pier and we spent all day there, arms linked, riding roller coasters and winning silly things. She still had the big blue dog I had won for her at the knock down the cans stand. Thank god for softball skills or I would've never knocked the cans down.

"Babe what are you thinking about?" A voice asked and I looked up to see Camila standing at the door way. She leaned on her door frame with two soda cans in her hands. She looked absolutely adorable, she was wearing a blue skirt with a white shirt at had a couple buttons and who could forget that adorable bow she usually wears in her hair. I smiled at her and patted the spot next to me.

"I'm thinking about that day if took you to the pier." I said with a cheeky smile

She grinned widely as she sat down next to me," was that technically our first date?"

"Well we weren't together but if you want it to count, than sure."

"Nah, I think our first date was pretty amazing." She said and I smiled at the memory. Our first date had been a week ago, I took her to the bowling alley and then we got pizza. It was nothing big and spectacular, but it was enough to make her smile. I knew she wasn't one of those girls who liked expensive things or getting dressed up, she was simple so that's why I chose to take her to a laid back place.

"I think if any date that involves pizza is gonna be pretty spectacular." I said with a giggle

"True, but that's not why it was amazing."

"Oh? Do tell why it was so amazing."

"Because...it was with you." She began as she unknowingly played with the tips of my fingers. "You always just know how to make me laugh and smile. That's why I'm so happy that we're together because not only are you my girlfriend, you're my best friend too. You get me and you know the things I enjoy and don't enjoy and I just...I really like being around you....I really like you."

I grabbed her hand and pulled her back so she was laying next to me. I wrapped an arm around her and pulled her into my side so there was no gap. "I'm gonna do my best to make you smile every day, that's what I'm here for,to make you happy."

She looked over at me and smiled lightly, tracing my right eyebrow with her finger. "Do you think people are gonna accept us being together?"

I didn't respond at first, I just let myself think. Well obviously the girls know so of course they accept us, Lucy and Vero will definitely support us, but what about my friends, my family, or Camila's friends or Camila's family. I wasn't sure, I don't know how my parents view same gender relationships and I didn't know how Camila's family viewed it either. To be honest, I fear telling people.

I'm not ashamed nor will I ever be ashamed of my relationship with Camila and even if my parents hate me after, I will stay with her, but I just don't want her to get picked on more. I can take a few means words and stares and whispers, but i couldn't even fathom seeing Camila get hurt worse with words. "Lo," she said snapping me from my thoughts, "so you think they will?"

I took a deep breath. "Honestly Camz, I'm not sure, but I know that even if they don't, I'm not leaving you. You make me happy, being with you makes sense."

"I...I think...we should tell my parents when they get home..." She whispered, she looked almost afraid of my response.

I lifted my hand and cupped her cheek, nuzzling our noses together. "Whatever makes you happy, baby."

"This makes me happy..." She muttered and slammed our lips together. The kiss was eager and desperate as if it was our last kiss, but it slowed down with in seconds and was more passionate. She pushed me onto my back and moved to straddle my waist, earning a slight gasp from me. Her tongue flicked across my bottom lip, and I opened my mouth gladly giving her permission to enter.

My hands fiddled with the hem of her shirt and I felt myself get excited at our actions. Our lips detached only for hers to reattach at my neck. She nibbled and bit down hard at some places causing some moans to escape my mouth. After another minute of this heated make out session she pulled back, her pupils dilated and darker than usual.

"I just...wow." Was all I was able to pant out

A sly smile appeared on her face, "I guess I know how to please you."

We heard a car door shut and we separated quickly, knowing her parents were now home. "Mija, we're home!" I heard Sinu yell from downstairs and Camila squeezed my hand.

"Okay mama, I'll be right down! Lauren is here!" Camz yelled back downstairs before turning towards me. "Are you sure you wanna do this?"

"Hey, it's either now or later, let's do this thing. Remember, I'm not gonna leave you no matter what."

She nodded and we got up, exiting her room and heading downstairs to where her parents were. My stomach clenched and I got nervous but I calmed down when she squeezed my arm lightly before dropping her hand. I was afraid of how they were gonna react, were they gonna freak out and scream at her or me or were they gonna kick me out or something crazy.

"Mama, papa, I have something to tell you..." She said, her voice cracking a bit.

"Sit mija, what is it?" Sinu said

Camila sat and I sat down next to her, unable to look up into her mothers eyes. "Well mama...papa....me and Lauren...we're..."

Seeing as she was unable to finish the sentence I took a deep breath and finished it for her. "Dating."

"YOURE WHAT?!" Alejandro exclaimed in an angry tone, making me flinch a little, grabbing Camila's hand under the table for some sort of safety and calmness.

"What do you mean by dating?" Sinu asked in a calmer tone

"We are girlfriends, we have been for almost two weeks now." Camz said softly

"Please tell me you're kidding. This has to be a phase." Alejandro said, his eyes darting between the two of us teens.

"No papa."

"Mija, how about you and Lauren go out for a little bit. Me and your father have to talk." Sinu's voice was sincere and it eased my worries a bit. Camila stood up and I followed en route, our fingers intertwining as we stepped out of her house, a heated conversation could be heard from her kitchen.

"Don't worry, I'm gonna stay no matter what." She muttered into my ear and kissed my cheek before we got into my car and drove off to lord knows where, most likely one of the girls houses. My stomach was still in knots and my head was spinning, the only thing going through my mind was 'what if they hate me now? What if they don't accept us? Or worse, what if they kick Camz out?'. A lump formed in my throat and the only thing that was keeping me from freaking out completely was Camila's hand in mine and the sweet little squeezes of reassurance she was giving me.
