Chapter 26- two months and counting

*Lauren's POV*

~a week later~

"Happy two month anniversary babe..." I muttered as I wrapped my arms around Camila's waist as she pulled her books out of her locker. I was on cloud nine right now, absolutely happy with everything going on. It was Camila who made me feel this way, she made me feel like I was invincible and honestly, it's the best feeling ever. I buried my nose into the crook of her neck, kissing the skin there lightly.

She twisted around in my arms and our eyes locked, a smile spreading across her face. "Happy two months anniversary." She reciprocated and leaned in connecting our lips in a fierce and fervor kiss. She made my knees weak with a simple brush of the hand and my head spin with a simple peck of the lips. I wanted this moment to last forever so when she went to pull away, I held tighter onto her hips, pulling her as close as possible.

My tongue slipped out, crossing her bottom lip, begging for entrance that she denied. I sighed and pulled away, pouting my bottom lip. She shook her head and gestured around at the kids in the hallway who were now staring at us. My smile grew wider especially when I saw Normani, Dinah, and Ally staring at us with wide eyes. I turned back to Camila and leaned in for another kiss but she abruptly stuck her finger in my face,shaking her head.

"Babeeeee!" I whined and pouted more, gaining a snort from her and a little giggle

"You can get more kisses later but for now, we are in school and that's a no no. We have to keep the PDA to a minimum or the teachers get an attitude." She stated firmly and I pouted even more, probably looking like a pissed off four year old.

"Buttttttt!"

"You keep acting like a child and you won't get anymore kisses for this whole day."

"Fine." I muttered and just pulled her into a hug, resting my head on her shoulder just enjoying the feeling of our bodies being so close. She was my safe haven, she was when we were just friends too. I've always felt safe in her arms like nothing could hurt me when I was wrapped up in her loving embrace. She was my protector, she always was, she always knew how to keep me safe and happy.

She always says I'm the one who protects her, which I do a lot, but she never gives herself enough credit because she does as much as I do. I pulled back from our embrace and kissed her forehead before intertwining our hands together and turning to see our friends coming over. I smiled at them and gave them a small wave but they just rolled their eyes and stopped in front of us.

"If I ever see a kiss like that again between you two I might just vomit everywhere." Normani said pulling a fake disgusted face causing me to laugh and shove her playfully

"It's our two month anniversary, cut us some slack." Camila said with a shy smile on her face, her head leaning on my shoulder

"Hey I'm all cool with it Mila, I mean I am the captain of this ship." Dinah said with a proud smile

"Of course you are Dinah." I said with a laugh and the bell for homeroom rang out. I sighed and turned to Camila kissing her quickly. "I'll see you in physics Camz, I love you." She smiled when I said I loved her and a blush quickly crept on her face, a collection of 'awwwssss' coming from the other girls. "I love you too baby." She said giving me one last peck before going to homeroom with Dinah and Ally whilst I went to homeroom with Normani.

God, how did I get this lucky? I mean I have one of the most amazing girls in my life and not only is she my best friend but she's also my girlfriend. My girlfriend who happens to also be in love with me just as much as I am in love with her. I knew this was real too, I mean, even though it's so early in our relationship and people are bound to say 'you're young and this won't last," I know they're wrong.

Me and Camz will last because ill do anything to make sure it does last. This feeling she brings me is something I want to feel forever. She makes my insides get all tight and butterflies erupt in my stomach every time she gets close to me. Her kisses make all my worries disappear and I could listen to her talk forever. She makes me feel loved, she makes me feel like I have a purpose and I never want to lose her.

"So what are your guys plans for tonight?" Mani asked as we sat down at our desks waiting for the teacher to call role.

"I'm not too sure, I mean I'm taking her to dinner I know that for sure but I feel like that's not enough." I said with a sigh, I wanted to make this perfect, I mean I got a pretty awesome present but I feel like I didn't plan enough.

"She'll love whatever you guys do. You make her happy. Geez Laur, you could order a pizza and watch a movie on Netflix and she'd be more than happy just because you're there."

"I know that would make her happy but I just wanna make this special, not like all of our other dates."

"Yeah I get it. Not to be too personal or anything but are you thinking of sealing the deal tonight?"

My throat got tight at that moment and I couldn't help but tap my fingers nervously. I would be lying if I didn't think about having sex for the first time tonight. I wanted to bring it up to Camila but I don't want her to feel like I'm pressuring her into anything. For her, I'd wait forever, I don't need her to give herself to me like that. Whatever she wants I'll be okay with, but like I said, I would be lying if I said I haven't thought about it.

"I've thought about it, but I doubt it." I said the truthfully watching Normani to see her reaction.

She smiled at me and put her hand on my shoulder. "You know it's okay to think about it, right?"

"I know and I was gonna bring it up to Camz but I don't want her to feel like I'm pressuring her."

"You guys are in a relationship now, you're a team, you're allowed to discuss this with her. You aren't forcing her into it, you're just asking if she's ready or not."

"Yeah, I know..."

"Look Laur, just talk to her. You two love each other, I'm pretty sure you're both mature and ready for this but who knows."

I nodded and now I added something else to my list to do today. I now have to ask Camila if she's ready for the next step. Soon enough homeroom was over and so were the next few periods, leaving me now at physics. Thankfully the teacher was out so I didn't have any work and which means I could just sit and talk to Camila the whole period. I walked into the class my eyes automatically falling on Camila who was having a conversation with some girl.

I made my way to her quickly and sat down, wrapping my arm around her waist, waiting for her conversation to be over. Once she was done talking, she turned to me with a smile on her face. "Babe, I gotta talk to you about something later." I said and she got a panicked look on her face quickly. I gave her a quick kiss, "it's nothing bad I just don't wanna discuss it here, no need to worry."

"Okay, thank god." She said smiling at me

"I can't believe it's been two months." I said with a happy sigh, nuzzling our noses together

"Me neither, but it's been an amazing two months."

"Agreed."

"I can't wait until tonight."

I smiled widely," I can't wait to give you your present." She smiled back, bringing her bottom lip up between her teeth, biting it lightly.

"I can't wait to give you your present either." She whispered in my ear, her tone flirtatious and seductive. Oh my god, was she thinking about sex too or am I just jumping to conclusions.....
