Kylie's POV
After I get my food from the lunch line I head to the table where I see Lissa and Drew already sitting. I bring my lunch to the table and plop in the seat across from them. They abruptly stop talking as if they didn't want me to hear what they were talking about. Awkward silence ensues until Sam arrives.
"Why in the world would Mrs.Schlomer need to know about my extra-curricular activities?" He asks. "I haven't done something like that since sixth grade!"
"No one ever knows why teachers do what they do." I reply. This gets everyone laughing.
"So how was everyone else's first class?" Sam asks.
Lissa is the first to reply," Well Mr.Sheath isn't that bad for a history teacher." She says. "And we have a new girl in our year. What was her name again? Daily? Daisy?" She struggles.
"Davey."Kylie replies.
Lissa snaps her her fingers, "Yes that's it. Anyway she is super edgy with her combat boots and blue hair and all."
At this Drew almost chokes on his Gatorade. We all look at him like, 'what the heck?' He says," Went down the wrong pipe." We all nod understandingly.
"Oh god," Lissa says suddenly," I think I'm gonna be sick." She runs from the table.
"I'm gonna go check on her," I say.
Lissa's POV
I have no idea what happened. One minute we're all sitting there talking about the new girl, what was her name again, and then I really feel like I'm going to puke...again. I excuse myself from our table, none to gracefully and run straight to the bathroom.
In a stall, I immediately start to throw up. "Lissa," I hear someone say, "Liss, are you okay?" I flush and emerge from the stall to see Kylie standing there looking worried.
"I'm fine," I say.
"No you're not. Tell me what's wrong." She demands.
" Um," I give her a worried look, "I think I might be pregnant."
Sam's POV
"Soo," I say, "you thinking about Davey?" I don't know why I wanted to know she was just interesting, I guess.
"No." Drew replies, blushing a little.
"Dude, you can't lie to me. I know you are but I suggest you tell Lissa before you do something that makes her suspicious and she sends Kylie to me to find something out, and you know I can't lie to K," I say.
"Yeah," he starts, "because you lo-" I kick him under the table. The girls are back. I hope they didn't just hear our conversation. Just then a girl, who I assume is Davey judging by her blue highlights, walks past our table. I notice Drew's eyes linger a little too long...and I wasn't the only one to notice. Liss moved closer to her boyfriend and kissed his cheek. I looked towards Kylie. I could tell she was thinking,'oh boy.'
