Kylie's POV
*last class of the day*
Finally. It was the last class for today. I had just come from creative writing and was just about to fall asleep from the boringness of it all when the bell rang. Gee, sometimes being a writer seemed like the best idea ever but at other times(cough creative writing cough) it could be such a bore. At least this class had Sam in it.
Sam's POV
I get to last period early, hoping to be able to save a seat for Kylie. I rush to Algebra 2 hoping I beat Kylie there. Luckily, I did. Don't get me wrong I love her, like seriously, but she likes to sit in the front and I like to sit in the back. Since, we won't leave each other to sit alone we always end up sitting where the person who got there first sat.
I take a seat in the back and put my bag in the seat in by my right. I smirk as Kylie walks in she looks at me and rolls her eyes. She hates the back, but she joins me anyway. I take my book bag out of the chair and she sits.
Kylie's POV
I enter the class and look around. 'Dang it,' I think to myself. Sam has beaten me to this class. I roll my eyes, he reserved a seat for me in the back row. I hate the back, but I won't leave Sam alone...or more importantly me.
I take the seat and we start to talk until we hear someone clear their throat. We look up and see Davey standing in front of Sam.
"Um is this seat taken," she asks.
Sam looks like a fish right now with his mouth opening and closing over and over. I giggle and tell her that it isn't. She sits.
Then she turns around and says to me," You're in my first period, right?" I nod. She continues," and who is your friend over here?"
"I-I um Sam," Sam says. "And you are...?"he acts like he doesn't know.
"Oh I'm Davey, nice to meet you." She extends her hand and they shake hands. He blushes a little, I notice.
The bell rings and we quiet down. Davey pretends to stretch and drops a note on Sam's desk. He opens it and reads it. He turns bright red as he reads it and puts it in his pocket. Davey turns around and winks. I really want to know what it says so I catch his eye and ask, silently, 'what does it say' he silently replies 'later.' Now I'm annoyed because when Sam says later it means, 'maybe in two weeks.' I can't wait two weeks.
The rest of the class takes forever. I can't stop thinking about what the note says.
