Alison Wood is seventeen , she has a little sister named Alexis Wood she is sixteen. They both grew up in an apartment in Baton Rouge , Louisiana that's where they have always lived. After a few months their mother became very ill and then died. The doctors said she had a very aggressive cancer and they didn't catch it in time. Now that their mother is gone they have to move in with their aunt, Rachel, who is still in college and isn't the best at being a parent. Rachel lives in a small town called Sleepy Hollow, New York . She got her parents house when they died and she has been living there when she isn't on campus.
Alison and her sister have never lived in a small town. They moved up to Sleepy Hollow about a week ago and now have to start school. Alison is a Junior and Alexis is a sophomore in high school. Alison and Alexis are both ready for a new start in a new place but they both know its not gonna be the same.
