November 8th
"Diana, your breakfast is getting cold!!" Mom yelled.
I groaned as I threw on a thick grey sweater and leggings and then my dark grey ugg boots. After i was done brushing my teeth, I stared at myself in the mirror-ew. I look like a zombie like always, quickly I put my hair in a top knot, next mascara and eyeliner, and who could go wrong without a lip balm.
"Diana you have 10 minutes!" Mother yelled once again,
"I know mother, hold on!" I shouted back with a groan.
Mom always yells, just like dad when he comes home drunk almost every night. He actually used to beat me and try to kill me. I hate him. But for sure love my mom. I quickly ran down the stairs and into the kitchen.
"I'll just eat at school mum." I said shrugging.
Her face fell in disappointment. We both know I'm not gonna eat at school.
"Hun, no your gonna sit here and eat your eggs and appreciate what you have." She insisted.
"I have no time."
"Diana!"
"Fine." I said slipping into the cold wooden chair.
I sat there like I was having a staring contest with the yellow salty eggs. So much calories. I don't want it, but then again I do. Stop it Diana your fat. My stomach began to grumble, but then I heard the engine of the bus.
"Sorry mom but I don't want to be late."
I ran outside and the yellow bus on its destination to hell came into my sight. I made my way on the noisy high school bus filled with laughter and gossip, I found myself sitting in an empty seat and I pulled my phone and ear buds out of my purse. Iris by the goo goo dolls blasted into my ears as I ignored everyone around me. I watched the drops of rain on the window fall and race with each other. I wanted to cry but I held it in. This song is so relatable.
