The Dark Side Chapter 16

Harry played with the ends of my hair with a smile on his face. My head was resting on his chest. His chest risen, bring my head up then back down. The moon light shines bright through the glass windows, reflecting off the ground. Harry's heart beaten rapidly under my touch. My eyes were closed as I listen to the beat of his heart. He rubbed soothing circles with his thumb on my hip. Shivers rose on my skin from his bare touch. He constantly whispered sweet things in my ear causing me to smile.

We laid down on his floor, covered in white blankets, and watched the sun rise. His emerald green eyes sparkled in the sun light. His curly hair was messy and pieces of hair fell in his face. I lifted my hand up and ran my fingers through his hair, pushing back every strand in his face. I watched him. He was calmed and relaxed. It seemed like he could be himself. His breathing was mellow, he wasn't shaking in anger, he wasn't worried about hurting me.

He lifted my hand up to his direction. He examined the small bruise spot on my wrist. His eyes soften as he whispered, "Did I do this?" I pulled my lip in between my teeth and kept quiet. He knew it was him. I didn't have to tell him. He was already filled with a lot of guilt. I watched him pull my hand closer to his lips. His soft lips kissed gently on the bruising spot. "I am so sorry I did this to you. You're much more than that," he said. My hand was still entwined with his as he buried his head in the crook of my neck. He gave my neck a soft kiss before resting his head on my bare chest.

I gripped onto his tattoo covered Bicep. "Don't," I whispered. He looked up at me. "Don't feel like that. What is done is done," I said. He shook his head. "No, I've hurt you physically and emotionally already. I'm no better than before," he said. "Like I said before Harry, I'm willing to take the chance to see the real you. There is always a different side to everyone," I said. "Including you." "What if there is no real me?" He asked. I looked in his emotionless eyes and gave his forehead a hard kiss. "I am already beginning to see it," I said. "But you don't know anything about me. You only know bits and pieces of my story. It's too risky to know my full story," he whispered. "I'm willing to risk it," I said.

"Risk your college dream? Your family? School? And possibly even Ashlyn?" He asked. I nodded. "I'm curious to know what is behind your cover up of going out to night clubs, the drinking and smoking, the tattoos and piercings. From the looks of it, there is and that's being in this place. Your own art studio. From what I said before, there is always two sides to a person. Including you," I said. "The question is, are you willing to risk telling me your story?" I asked. He stayed quiet as he looked at me. He let out a soft sigh and shrugged. "I guess we will find out," he smirked.

I smiled in return before cuddling closer into him. His scent filled my nose, making me relax instantly. "I really like you Harry. You're different," I said. He smiled like he felt loved. He hasn't been loved in awhile and I hope I will change that. "A good different?" He asked. I let out a soft laugh and nodded. "A good different."

He smiled and kissed my cheek before closing his eyes and soon falling in a peaceful sleep on my bare chest. His hands had a loose grip on my hips. I pushed his curls back and wrapped my arms around his bare torso that were too covered in tattoos. I traced every tattoo he had on his body. From the writing tattoos across his chest to the picture ones on his muscular arms.

Time went by and I couldn't help but let my mind wonder to my parents and Ashlyn. They must be so upset and worried about me. I untangled my self from Harry's arms. I stood up and wrapped myself in one of the white blankets as I walked out on the balcony view of the city. I grabbed my phone to check my text messages from Ashlyn. Most of them were the same. Like, 'Where are you?' Or 'What happened to you?' and 'Your parents are furious and questioning me. Please come home.' I sighed and locked my phone before leaning against the railing.

At times, I wish I could get away from my strict parents. Possibly run away from them and live life the way I want it to be. They never let me choose how I want my life to be. They choose it for me and it irritates me more than I show it does.

I felt large hands wrap around my waist and soft lips connect to my neck. "What's wrong?" Harry murmured in my neck. "Nothing," I whispered as I closed my eyes letting my mind clear. "Is it your parents?" He asked. I nodded. He pulled back and made me look at him. I avoided his gaze and kept my eyes looking down at the ground but his finger lifted my chin up to look at him. His eyes, that were filled with love and concern, looked back in my eyes.

He slowly leaned in and placed his lips on mine. His kiss was with love and passionate. I closed my eyes and kissed him back. The blanket dropped to the floor as we made our way back inside. His large hands roamed my small body. His lips kissed along my jaw till he reached my neck. My back was pressed against the hard wall. Harry's hips grind against mine. His soft lips made contact against my neck and the moisture and delicacy he made with each kiss. He trailed down kisses repeatedly till he licked one spot to suck on and bite down on, flicking his tongue over it and repeating the process again. I couldn't help but roll my head back and let out a soft moan causing him to smile and pull back by a little bit. He blew his cool breath over it and gave it one more tender kiss.

"As long as I am here, babe. You don't need to worry about your parents," he whispered. "We can be a secret from them. If you want. Every other day I could sneak in to see you at dawn," he mischievously smiled. "You couldn't go a day without seeing me or even laying a hand on me," I said. "You're right. I can't, but it will be a challenge I'm willing to take," he said. I bit my lip as I tried to fight the smile that was forming.

"You're crazy," I said. "Crazy for you," he said. I smiled and pushed him back a little. "I will think about it," I said. A smile formed across his lips as he took a seat on the hard floor. He patted the spot in front of him, gesturing for me to take a seat. I sat in front of him and leaned against his chest. He wrapped his arms around my body and covered me with the white blanket. His head rested on top of mine as we looked at the now rising sun.

We sat like that and watched the rising sun together. Non of us said a word as we enjoyed one another's presence. I couldn't help but noticed his sudden mood of change as he was in deep thought. His eyebrows were furrowed like he has something on his mind. Something that I was curious to know but decided to shake the thought away.

Just like that, I've noticed that the closer I am to him, the closer I am getting to fall for him. I would be breaking the one promised I made to myself.

Falling for the bad boy.
