The Dark Side Chapter 10
My heart was pounding. My hands became sweaty and shook. I tapped my foot up and down numerous times. I count down the seconds I had left till school was out. "Why are you so anxious?" Ashlyn whispered. I shrugged my shoulder as a response.
Ten seconds left. "You add like terms with the four and the- Miss Smith. Are you even paying attention?" Mr. Simons said. The bell rung before I could reply. I quickly gathered my things before making my way towards the door before a voice stopped me from exiting.
"Miss Smith. Please stay after class," Mr. Simons spoke. I turned on my heels letting out a frustrated sigh. Everyone had exited out of the classroom leaving my teacher and me. The door closed shut leaving a sound of nothing.
"What is with you today Miss Smith? You usually pay attention in class and today you were not," he said. "Is anything going on at home that needs to be discussed?" He asked with sincere in his eyes.
I shook my head and said, "No. Everything is perfectly okay at home. I guess I was off today. I promise it won't happen again Mr. Simons." He gave me a small smile along with a nod. "That's what I like to hear. You may be excused," he said.
"Have a good day," I waved before exiting out of his classroom. I ran down the long, quiet hallway. My heels clinked behind me and echoed through out the halls.
Ashlyn stood at the corner of the hall waiting for me. "Hey Annabelle-" "I can't talk at the moment. I'm in a hurry," I rushed out as I ran past her. She gave me an eerie, muddled look before I ran away from her sight.
My locker was a few feet away and he stood there just like he said he would. His eyes were covered by his black shaded glasses. He stood tall with his arms covered by his leather jacket. His tattoos were not in view besides the ones on his neck and wrist.
A smile formed on my face as I slowed down my pace. He stood leaning against my locker with a smirk playing on his lips.
He pushed off his locker and made his way towards me. He took off his glasses and hung them on his shirt. His green eyes glistened with mystery. I tried to hide back my smile but it never vanished from my face. He stopped walking once he stood in front of me. He took my hands in his larger ones.
"Missed me?" He asked with a playful smile. My smile formed wider as I nodded. He let out a soft yet audible chuckle. He pulled me closer to his body and leaned down where his face was inches away from mine.
The corner of his lips twitched upward for a quick second. I was taken by surprise when his lips were met with my jaw as he begun to trail small kisses down my neck. My body relaxed and I couldn't control it anymore. I rolled my head back as his lips met with the bruised spot from yesterday.
He stopped and smiled proudly as he looked at the marking he created. "You're mine," he said. "Only mine." He gave one more kiss on my tender bruised spot before he pulled back.
"You are mine now. No one else's," he demanded with such authority. I gave him a nod as a smirk formed on his lips. He wrapped an arm around my shoulder before giving my cheek a quick yet lasting kiss.
His lips lingered for a moment before he pulled back with a smirk plastered on his lips. He bit onto his lip ring and pulled it in between his teeth. He played with it before releasing it.
We began walking down the hallways together with our arms wrapped around each other. We walked past a very stun Ashlyn. I gave her a small smile before Harry and I walked out of the school building.
All eyes turned in our direction and I saw Harry's mouth turn upward in amusement. He placed on his shaded glasses and guided me to his motercycle. We walked past the very stun looks of many teenagers.
